Evgeny Romanov vs. veteran Denis Bakhtov, 22 April in Ekaterinberg. Romanov is the guy who knocked down and beat Wilder in the amateurs. He's 8-0 and ranked #7 heavy in Russia.

What do you guys think of this prospect Brian Durham? He is only 53 years old, and he has already achieved the impressive rank of #862 on boxrec. All 14 of his losses so far are pre-prime defeats. I have a completely baseless hunch that he is still improving and won't reach his prime until he is 64.
He doesn't look like that great of a young prospect. One guy i used to watch was Bronco Billy Wright who had won 22 in a row at age 51, had 29 first round KO's, and was 52-4. I guess he's finally retired now because he hasn't fought in over two years. Hassan Chitzas, another young prospect, an Iranian fighting in Mexico, seems to have retired now too. He was the oldest pro boxer. His last fight was in 2015 at age 58. Record: 27-1.

wow, just checked out bakhtovs record, he used to be a very respectable test but seems hes really dropped off, losing every round in his last fight to a 1-2 guy. before that hed been out of the ring two years.
romanov with his age and small size i doubt accomplishs much as a pro, but hell always have that wilder ko. romanov would be better suited for cruiser, which is where he was in the amaters i think

That man is huge. He's also a southpaw with a big time power.
