Mike Tyson - Had something that Other Boxers didn't. Although A lot of Things happened to him he could not help, but he himself made some bad desicion ultimatley contributing to his Downfall.

I mean he was never the same after douglas...

But 12 years later, He took a beating from Lewis showing had a Chin. Had he been as fast as he was, well.....

Would Nick Wells be able to handle Teofilo Stevenson had they fought?

Riddick Bowe for starters. He had designs on being the next Tyson but he deliberatly done everything to dispell that after beating Holly.

His refusal to fight Lewis was a massive dissapointment and a robbery for the fans. He signed to say he would fight the winner of Lewis/Ruddock and he never did!

Riddick Bowe for starters. He had designs on being the next Tyson but he deliberatly done everything to dispell that after beating Holly.

His refusal to fight Lewis was a massive dissapointment and a robbery for the fans. He signed to say he would fight the winner of Lewis/Ruddock and he never did!

Ended up dumping the WBC Belt in a dust bin rather than fight Lewis, thus breaking up the undisputed part of the Heavyweight Title and the most prestigous belt. Riddick let everyone down inc himslef when it came to his career.

He wasn't the only one to duck Lewis. Tyson did as did Holly for 5 years!

LOL! Not the same. Bonecrusher lasted it out with Iron Mike, but the three I mentioned, especially Seldon and Stewart, were beaten before the opening bell. I've never seen fighters look so scared like that!

Duane Bobick. He beat Teofilo Stevenson in the Pan-Am games. Got blown out at Olympics by same. Undefeated pro and got blown out by Norton.

Tyson was as happy to hold as Smith. I'm still waiting for him to hit seldon or Stewart with anything big. I watched Tyson/spinks closed circuit at a college gym and as soon as I saw spinks I turned to my buddy and said ko1

Chris Eubank I don't believe he was top drawer,but seemed content to fight b and c level fighters instead of trying to be the best and taking on the big guns
Joe calzague is another who sat in his comfort zone for far too long,and took til near the end of his career before he fought outside the UK,I believe Joe was an exellent boxer though but could had had some bigger names earlier on in his career instead of waiting until near the end
Herol Graham could have been the best British fighter ever with a wee bit of luck,better management etc,don't so much feel let down by him but his career could have and should have been so much better

Nah, the hw from pa. He was right there with Frazier, tubbs, broad in the amateur ranks. Back when it was televised enough that I knew the top guys. Oddly enough, a Baltimore guy beat him before his life spiraled
