Rossy is known in the states, as are Stacey Frazier; BJ flores. I'm not saying he's a star, but he has a name in the states.

That name would've helped sell tickets to the event. Also, not sure why it would've been kept under wraps...doesn't make any sense.
It doesn't make any sense that he'd just now announce an opponent. I don't think anyone knows who the hell Bryan is. Only reason I know him is because of some odd beef him and Miller have.
Bryan is known for sure. Holds WBA regular belt if I'm not mistaken. He's not a mystery.
I'm a hardcore fan, and as I said, I only know of Bryan because Miller has some weird beef with him. I don't think anyone cares that he's a paper champion. It's sad that I know several discreet flyweights and light flyweights, but somehow, I barely know Trevor Bryan. Who the hell would buy tickets to see him fight?

I didn't watch the beginning, though, and I missed that Miller said several guys dropped out. I'm not confident it's Bryan anymore from how unenthusiastic Miller sounded.

nobody would buy tickets for Bryan, but WBA regular title fight between 2 undefeated Americans would obviously help selling out this event

if there are even no rumours and if his opponent is already known but still not announced he must be really terrible

You're completely mistaken here. Bryan has no name whatsoever. Flores is probably the most "popular" guy on that list, and I don't think many people know Flores.

Rossy and Frazier aren't known in the States . You may as well say Derrick Findley is known in the States.

Well, I certainly knew of him for several years, and I'm not as hardcore as you I suspect. Does it really matter? It's not him and it won't be anyone we've ever heard of, I fear.

They are just names I know. I'm not in the least saying they are stars or even good tests. You asked what were BRYAN'S biggest profile fights and those are his. It's relative. Read the post again and cool yer jets.

It would help, but I don't think it'd sell many extra seats. People will be watching Miller.

Wilder is just getting 'known'. It might take you a week to walk around a crowded city and find someone who knows who Bryan is.

That's fine. I figure if I'd heard of them they can't be mysteries. I'm not making a case for Bryan nor any of his opponents. I'm just disappointed in this Miller thing.

It's been talked about since December. They probably had Bryan on tap for a while. If it happens, I don't think he'd have had a week's notice.

Hearn has money to burn. Announcing it a month ago wouldn't make anyone here care. Just would grab a small amount of tickets to go to the 'fight'.

I find it a bit pompous that people think just because they personally haven't heard of a fighter that someone else couldn't either. That's just silly.

Go look at Rossy's resume. He was from a town near mine and fought a load of names. You just don't know him I guess. Get over it.
