I know...I'm bad...I just want him in a challenging fight.
I agree, man. We already know he can fight and beat better comp so I think Hearn needs to do better. His Jan 18th card is all mismatches.

I don't hate him at all. He has no significance to me. He certainly isn't boring. I just don't think he's very good. We'll see when he fights aj.

Better than his last two fights and the next? Why wouldn't we? Look at the weak division. Parker and Whyte are top ten guys ffs.

I just want him to FIGHT better competition. Whether or not he wins is anyone's guess, or rather I want to see him exposed.

I didn't watch his last fight. You're right the depth in the division is abysmal. The fact that Miller is talked about like he can fight proves your point. Parker and whyte are much more established. I'd pick both confidently to beat Miller. He has fast hands for a fatty and his stamina seems pretty good. Don't know about his chin yet and he lacks fight ending power.

I just want to see good fights. Something Hearn isn't trying to make.

Hearn is the best thing to happen in boxing for a fan in America in a long, long time.

Speaking for myself; I don't hate him. He is hard to hate when he cracks me up with his humour.
What I am is disappointed. I'm disappointed that if he does get a shot at Joshua, he won't have earned it, and won't be prepared for the level Joshua is at- this is because he has missed a step in opponent on his way up.
I'm also disappointed in his big talk, without the resume to back it up. If you wanna talk big, show it in your actions as well.

I don't really "hate" him, I've said before it's as you say...big mouth without backing it up.

I think it's also that step in opponent Oggie me old mate.
He has the potential to make a good fight of it with Joshua. But he won't, because he hasn't been tested against various types of HW on the way up.
See how he goes against a mover- fight Huggie
See how he goes against a puncher- fight Povitkin
See how he goes against an all rounder- fight Takem
See how he goes against a volume puncher- fight Parker.
Those 4 fights would prepare him for the top level, win him fans, and maybe if he learns from them, make Miller Joshua a fight want to see :salut:

You're definitely right, Kiwi. It would be downright shocking (much less ill-prepared) for him to be in the ring with an elite HW at this juncture, given his past opposition. Remember Charles Martin's face when he first got knocked down by AJ? He was like, "WTF just happened!" I mentioned something similar in another thread regarding Tevin Farmer and his lack of opposition as he claims to want the Mares/Davis winner. I'm like WHAT!?

I doubt anyone actually hates him; folk just want to see how good he actually is.

He talks a good game, but he never fights anyone decent.

He needs to take a leaf out of Dillian Whyte's book; he too talks a lot, but what separates the two is that Whyte actually fights the best contenders and beats them too, hence why now he is overwhelmingly the number 1 contender out there on resume.

Miller needs to do the same.

I was actually thinking that earlier. What a sad story. I'd like to know the fighters turned down by the state athletic commission.

I can confirm Corbin was turned down. That's why there was no announcement. No opponent as of this time. The list of guys that have been turned down is impressive.....

It's going to be a disaster opponent, or a cancellation.

Based on the list I got it doesn't look like NYSAC is going to allow a disaster opponent in. I don't know what they can find to get approved on 5 days notice.
