You identify with Plant's personal story, but I expect Uzcategui's personal struggles were quite similar. He lost a Daughter as well ya know, and he's from Venezuela so I think it's safe to say he likely had a rough upbringing.

No, it ended up being on fox but I'm sure the card was scheduled before they knew that. it's just pretty silly to program a niche sport when 25 million people are watching football.

Super middleweight world titleholder Jose Uzcategui (165.2) left, and challenger Caleb Plant (166.6) made weight for Sunday's showdown at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. They had to be separated after an intense face off.

Plant's off to a fantastic start here. I got it 30-26 after 3 rounds. He scored a knockdown in the 2nd, and has won every round handily thus far. None have been the least bit close.

Agreed. Uzcategui is starting to do a little bit better with each passing round, but he's already so far behind on the cards that nothing short of a KO or multiple knockdowns is gonna save his title from here.
