Brandon Figueroa KO3 over Moises Flores

Post by oogiebe »

In what was billed as a title eliminator, Figueroa, 22, dispatched Flores with a relentless inside game primarily targeting the body, with the occasional headshot. Flores was knocked down twice, a looping left hook on the first KD and a sharp right which ended a pretty sweet combination, bringing an end to the fight. But it was those body shots that quickly wore down Flores. First time seeing Figueroa. Can't wait to see him again! A real throwback type. Figueroa moved his record to 18-0 (13)

Yeah he looks solid. His brother Omar is good too, but he's been kinda pissing away his talent through bad decisions outside the ring.

That's really too bad, and sad. BTW, I liked the 'sound' of those body shots.

Brandons' brother Omar Figueroa Jr (27-0-1, 19 KO's) was supposed to fight Broner last year. However, the immature Figueroa Jr was arrested for drunk driving. He ended up taking 2018 off. He is now preparing for his ring return .... his opponent will be sturdy veteran John Molina Jr.

He should be able to beat John Molina Jr, but Molina is definitely a guy you can't take lightly. He's no world beater as far as Boxing skill, but he's one of the better pure punchers in the game, and has the power to hurt anybody.

Flores had trouble making weight and it showed... FIgueroa hurt him in the first minute and overwhelmed him with a long flurry... it was a formality... Figo was too powerful
