Michał Cieślak vs Youri Kalenga - 1 March, Legionowo, Poland

Post by dagilechia »

CW prospect Michał Cieślak will finally step up, i think that he will rather easily defeat Kalenga, the CW division is weakening, Hunter and Usyk move to HW, Gassiev will probably too, Cieślak is big, agressive, entertaining, maybe too open and too easy to hit but he is one of the most interesting CW prospects now.

Cieslak should walk through Kalenga. Although he's not hard to hit as you said! Just watched him vs Witkowski, and a couple of other more recent clips.

Trolling Cieślak's bio and fights and noticed he got snagged using steroids, as did Jezewski in their bout in 2016 that ended in NC. He's 29 and needs to move up in opposition.

It's a good test for Cieslak. Cieslak is a talent and if you have a weak chin, he has the offensive skills to grind a brutal TKO. Cieslak has good hand skills for a big guy... speed, combo fluidity, good cumulative pop...

But he goes the distance vs most reasonably durable fighters and can go down too...

THis is a serious test but ultimately, he is more compact than Kalenga and should survive and win a UD.

But we will learn something about him in this one no doubt. Mainly about his chin... he was down before and Kalenga can pressure fighters... crudely but still can be overwhelming if the chin ain't there.

He was backed so far into the corner by damning evidence, he would have looked like an arse of he had denied it. The fact he did it in the first place should not be overlooked or forgotten.
