Let's face it Ustinov is utter shite now and never was as good as his ranking might suggest. I'm not knocking Hunter but beating Ustinov looks a lot better on paper than it actually is. His win over Bakole-Ilunga is impressive though in that Hunter didn't give two hoots for MBI's reputation, or the significant disparity in size.
I don't understand why anyone would include Hunter in a group with Rock, Franklin and Faure. Faure is just getting started, Rock is only young but he seems to have been around forever and hardly progressed at all. Franklin is making decent progress but is very much a prospect, whereas Hunter has properly arrived in the top twenty.
He is at a stage where fights with Takam, Ruiz, Jennings, Breazeale would be very interesting and because of his activity, his skill-set, and his can-do attitude I'd probably favour him to beat any of them.

Is think Cyclone promote Ilunga. But yeh, that was their plan. And it backfired.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑12 Jan 2019, 20:33I think they were trying to feed Hunter to Ilunga and it backfired. Not saying it was Hearn because I don't know who promotes Ilunga. Would be great if Hearn does plan to feed him to someone. It might just backfire, especially if he uses a vulnerable contender like Whyte.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Jan 2019, 20:28 Hunter is still technically a PBC fighter..
Don’t know what Hearn’s plans are using him on his shows. Clearly there’s a part where he tries to feed him to someone.

Read the rest of this exchange. This is only a portion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is not the full context. Just saying.Gnome wrote: ↑13 Jan 2019, 05:03Mexi-Box is right.oogiebe wrote: ↑12 Jan 2019, 21:43sure pal, whatever you say. Thanks for the laughs.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑12 Jan 2019, 21:42
Ruiz Jr. pretty much took Parker's 0 according to several that saw that fight.
I'm not getting into a back-and-forth with someone that obviously can't back up his opinion with anything other than emotions. I'm not trying to get anything to work. Anyone who has knowledge of the sport would come up with better comebacks than "he's not on my radar... he's a joke... or a win over Takam (a formidable fighter for years) means nothing." I've not seen you break down anything other than emotions and feelings. Anyone who reads this with no bias can see that.
I tried to break it down for you to understand, but since you can't come up with a good argument, it's futile for me to continue. Hell, you were still arguing even after getting called out about Trevor Bryan being so well known, so as I said, you're way too stubborn to have a worthwhile debate with.
