8/12/18 Michael Zerafa v Kel Brook

Post by The Raw Prawn »

8/12/18 Sheffield UK
32 yr old Kell Brook 37-2-0 will meet 26yr old Michael Zerafa 25-2-0 at welterweight over 12rds.

Brooks' only losses were by TKO to Golovkin in 2016 and a KO loss to Errol Spence Jr in 2017
Will be a tough night out for Zerafa. I wish him all the best. :TU:

Wishing Zerafa all the best, this is a HUGE step up for him and I am sure he will start as a long outsider but you never know in this sport of ours.

Zerafa doesn't seem to shy away from tough fights.

Wide decision to Brook< I was on a rnd by rnd feed. Good performance by Michael though he made it tough apparently.
Interesting observation is that Boxers at Michaels age, 28, rarely improve enough to be able reverse decisions such as these.
Anyone have an idea about that?

Zerafa tried hard and was good in patches but never likely to win. Gave a decent account of himself though. I would love to see Horn and Rushton targeting a big fight with either Brook or Khan because I reckon Jeff would have too much for either of them.

Looks like Horn v Brook is a chance of happening. My money goes on Horn for this one. Brook is just made for him.
