Justify this paying less than Chisora for me please.
It's an opening shot in a negotiation.

From his own promoter who's supposed to be negotiating him a deal too. Now he's expected to negotiate against Hearn for himself? Yet Hearn will get a % of whatever deal Whyte bargains for himself. Sounds fair??

If you sign with your rivals promoter you won't be the #1 priority when he's got the belts.

God what a boring option. I'd rather see Usyk go straight in with AJ (without a tuneup, just for the unknown element-he's undisputed cruiserweight champ, why not?) and for Whyte to fight Povetkin, which would be an exciting fight in itself.

This is Hearn's fault for having Whyte headlining PPVs in his last 2 fight despite never having even fought for a title, if he hadn't been paid over his worth for they fights then he wouldn't have the same sense of entitlement for the Joshua rematch

It's only natural that he should get more for a world title fight than previous, Eddie's made this mess himself

Problem with this argument is that Joshua has already beaten him. For me, there's little appetite for Whyte / Joshua 2. Joshua will win, Whyte will do himself proud but all it does is move the focus away from the fights that really need to happen.

Yeah this. They've made so much money at this point how much do you fornicating need? If they want defining fights then they have to pay for the dance partner. Wilder and Fury represent the biggest challenges and they are the fights people want to see. I see a short Hearn interview (I don't watch the long ones anymore) where he said that both Wilder and Fury will want "silly money" which sounds increasingly desperate. After they rematch I can see the world viewing them as consensus world number 1 and 2 and Joshua as a greedy, entitled Canelo type who wants everything stacked in his favour. Fury has won over an awful lot of people. He's sensible to stay in the US because of his past failings ticket-wise in the UK, beat Wilder in the rematch and keep building the brand. The yanks were excited by the Fury Wilder fight (the fact that Joe Rogan has had both of them on and is increasingly talking about boxing is significant despite Rogan's slightly iffy boxing knowledge) AJ and Hearn don't seem to be able to keep up with this.
