When I was 15, my boss said to me "You cant make every customer 100% happy but if you work really hard you can make 98% happy, and the 2% you can't, tell them to f*ck off, because they will never be happy"

Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
Ok, here's mine. First of all, I think Fury is the best out there. Should he fight Joshua, I see Fury clowning with him all night and Joshua having immense problems reaching him. If Wlad and Wilder, two huge men with long, long reaches can barely touch Fury, then Joshua won't be able to either. I hope they do fight, because as long as Fury is mentally fit, I see him earning a pretty easy decision and I'll be betting on that one. In the fight against Wilder, Wilder got the absolute maximum out of it, that he could. Wilder is ALWAYS a chance with his wild swings and he connected twice, but the rest of the time he was totally outclassed. That is no disrespect for Wilder, BTW, he makes the most out of what he has and is clearly a top 3 heavyweight, which is an immense achievement in itself.
Oh, and I happen to be a fan of Chisora. A very under-rated boxer I think. He's convinced me of his class (in the ring) more in his losses, than a bunch of undefeated fighters have in their wins.
So here we go.
1. Tyson Fury
2. Anthony Joshua
3. Deontay Wilder
4. Dillian Whyte
5. Alexander Povetkin
6. Luis Ortiz.
7. Joseph Parker
8 Kubrat Pulev
9. Jarrell Miller
10 Dominic Breazdale
11. Derek Chisora
12. Bryant Jennings
13. Adam Kownacki
14. Christian Hammer
15. vacant
seriously, 15 could be anyone. I'll give it to Andy Ruiz Jr for his fight against Parker.

I like when people really think it out, weigh up more than the stats. Fury is a Wilder card than Wilder himself. Twice I have thought Fury can't do it for 12 rounds, twice I've been proved wrong.
I festered over my list for about a week

I just don't see how Agit Kabayel is getting this kind of consideration. He hasn't fought in like 9 months and the one fight he had was against Miljan Rovcanin (3RD TKO). He struggled in a win over Chisora. He's disappeared. He's slow and sometimes seems out of condition. I just don't see it.

a little over a year ago he legitimately beat your 11, why such a hard time seeing how hes 14th himselfoogiebe wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:25 I just don't see how Agit Kabayel is getting this kind of consideration. Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
Yeah, I mentioned I needed to tweak my ratings but never did. After the next relevant HW match, I'll be making serious changes at the bottom of my rankings. BTW, I would take Chisora over Kabayel if they fought tomorrow.jamamb wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:31he still beat chis legit, who u have 11th btwoogiebe wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:25 I just don't see how Agit Kabayel is getting this kind of consideration. Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
easy to say that but kabayel won when they actually fought and it was barely over a year ago. hes much younger and fresher too.
Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
and hes rated barely in the top 15, not like thats super high
Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
Yes it was easy to say that. Chis was a little chubby for that fight and he sometimes runs hot and cold. The Chisora that lost to Whyte would beat Kabayel. I get your point, but I stick to having Chisora over Kabayel in my ratings. If Kabayel stayed active and actually beat another near the top 15 HW, I'd have a different perspective, but he's been inactive, while Chisora ko'd Takam and had that death match with Whyte.

i think that Kabayel-Chisora could go either way, i thought that Chisora will win but then he gave away the last rounds, i had it a draw, of course giving the decision to Kabayel was totally acceptable
Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 Ranking voting
Yeah I don't think anyone would've complained had the decision gone the other way. It was that close.dagilechia wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:40 i think that Kabayel-Chisora could go either way, i thought that Chisora will win but then he gave away the last rounds, i had it a draw, of course giving the decision to Kabayel was totally acceptable

stick to having chis over him, but you really think kaybayels getting seriously overrated down at 14? in this no depth division? i think its pretty obvious why hed be getting a lot of votes in that range. i mean u rate guys like hucjk and hrgivic btw....

I don't think Kabayel would last with Whyte until the end. So the match may be close, but I figure Whyte would dispatch him. Kabayel isn't difficult to hit, and Whyte has some power there.dagilechia wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:42to be honest i wouldn't be surprised if Whyte-Kabayel would be a close fight if they'll ever fightoogiebe wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:39Yes it was easy to say that. i rank Chisora at #14 and Kabayel at #17, i have their fight as a draw but since their fight Chisora done more despite the loss in his last fight, he was losing badly to Takam but eventually knocked him out, back then i had Takam in top 10, to be honest i would still favour Takam in a rematch and i would also favour Takam over Kabayel but for obvious reasons i can't rank him above them.oogiebe wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:45Didn't say it wasn't legit. i just dont get how you have chis at 11 but then are dumbfounded about kaybayel being voted to 14, plus u were talking him up as world class and all hes done since is destroy a guy who drew with dimitrenko

I agree with you actually. Maybe worth a reconsider. For me, the list gets extremely weak towards the bottom. I think he's benefitted more than maybe he should from Chisora's good showings against better fighters.oogiebe wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:25 I just don't see how Agit Kabayel is getting this kind of consideration. I'm thinking I've put Miller a bit high too.
