Andrade: "At the end of the day, you put GGG in front of me and I am going to destroy him”; GGG vs Andrade next?

“I felt great, I displayed skills and how to use a hell of a jab for 12 rounds, baby. That’s it. I did what I had to do. I looked beautiful, I came out tall, black and handsome and I’m still. I look forward to getting in there with the best. Akavov moved, he used the ring real well. I wasn’t trying to force anything. The jab was working beautiful all night. At the end of the day, you put GGG [Gennady Golovkin] in front of me and I am going to destroy him”
“I mean, all I can do is just keep destroying the top 15. After I keep destroying the top 15, they have nobody else but to say but GGG, Canelo, Danny Jacobs and all those great guys up there. That’s all we’re looking to do, make great fights, baby. That’s it. And may the best man win.”
On fighting Billy Joe Saunders:
“He’s unprofessional. I am not worried about Billy Joe Saunders.”
from BS

It would be and interesting match up considering that GGG could get that wbo title and be back in the mix as a champion. :box: Also GGG had all the belts excepting the wbo.

For me, it is still unknown how good Andrade really is. How do you see potentional GGG-Andrade fight? I am not sure if Golovkin will be still at prime in 2019, but i will favor him a bit over Andrade

Declined or not I think GGG is the kind of tough specimen that it has a tremendous work ethic and if he feels that something doesn't work well 100% or he's not fully prepared he would not take a risky fight.

I think a 37 y/o GGG in top shape T/K.O Andrade. I put Andrade on a par with a Monroe Jr, pre GGG fight. :box:

Andrade stinks. Horrible workrate, lacks power, can't cut the ring. Canelo or GGG would make quick work of him.

If I’m GGG, I’m never fighting Andrade. That jab last night may be the best jab performance I’ve seen in 40 years. That was crazy.

Andrade won't bother with Golovkin, even if he signs with DAZN.

So much more money to be made and opportunity to be had in a unification fight with Canelo in September.

Why get detoured by an ex-champion?

Anyaway GGG could retire very well. He's very well and wealthy. No reason to get more wear and tear at this age.

Andrade was floored by Vanes. GGG destroys him. Decent fight though.

Reminds me of when people brought up that Pirog knocked out Jacobs before he fought GGG. Andrade won't be easy for anybody.

Andrade is mediocre. He was unimpressive even at 154. He has only one good opponent on his resume, and he struggled against him. Also, SD against Culcay. GGG, Canelo, Jacobs, Derevo, Mall Charlo will all have no problems with him.

Yeah, Andrade doesn't have enough to beat GGG. The only thing that would help Andrade is if GGG gets really old really fast.

The only good thing about Andrade at 160 is that he has a belt. GGG should take it.

Who is he going to destroy? He's only good at destroying people's sleep cycle with his awful performances. I hope GGG stops him and quick. His resume is awful, and he struggled with Culcay and Martirosyan. He's no threat to GGG.

GGG should grab that belt from Andrade and then retire as a champion. :OhYes:
