THis fight was not for the European Cruiserweight championship, which is fought for over 12 rounds. It was a 10 round match for the European Union Crusierweight Championship.
It also wasn't a TD 8, there was about 19 seconds of the 7th round left when the fight was stopped, due to a cut sustained by May in the first round from an accidential clash of heads. As the fight was in Germany the unfinished 7th round was scored, the judges scorecards were 69-65, 69-65, 69-64 all for May.
