Hard hitting Arslanbek Makhmudov steps up to face Jason Bergman on January 26. Makhmudov is a terrific puncher but at 29 needs to have an active 2019.

You mean it was his uppercut that got you to sit up and take notice of him or have I misunderstood ?

Arslanbek Makhmudov KO's Bergman in the first round. Bergman was never in the fight and looked like he was trying to find a quick way out which Makhmudov provided. Looking forward to Makh moving up a level in his next fight. He is looking scary.

Maybe too soon for Makhmudov. He had an 'uneven' amateur career and he needs to step up the competition and see how he reacts to fighters that fight back.
