Who the hell picked Stiverne to win??
Is this just hatred for Joyce or does someone actually think Stiverne can win?

It wasn't me, I don't think highly of Joyce as far as title contention. But he'll stop stiverne on effort alone

Apparently 4 people picked Stiverne. I think they should be on some sort of watchlist, or probably already are :D
I mean, there is some outside chance Stiverne could win, he would need to train like Rocky in Rocky #1 or #2 or #3 or #4 was there a #5? I sorta lost interest after #1.

He would need to train more like Drago. Very high doses of steroids.

Is it me or is Don King the perfect promoter for Bermane Stiverne? They deserve each other. Both bantering about how Stiverne is back to his old self (???) and feeling sorry for Joyce because he has only 7 fights. Trying to sell ice to Eskimos. First time rooting for Joyce to absolutely destroy his opponent. I hope he carries Stiverne for a few rounds of absolute beat-down.

He's been so far from the spotlight I'd forgotten what a complete douche Don King is. As I read the article, I was having flashbacks to the 70's/80's!

King is a perfect promoter for Stiverne in the sense, that he still has some power to chose good pay-days for Stiverne. And he timed a title-shot for Stiverne right in time. But still King had been past it for a long time already, so he was spoiling Stiverne's career with the inactivity. Well, as I said, now he made another solid pay-day for Bermane with this fight agaist a rising contender. And you really don't have to hope for a quick stoppage here, this outcome seems to be the only possible. Joyce is too strong and aggressive for declined Stiverne. An early KO is to happen.

The talk of this being a 'step-up' regarding Stiverne, is absolute idiocy. I can't imagine how anyone thinks pulverizing this lazy bvllshit artist proves anything for Joyce.

I agree. But on the other side of it. If Joyce struggled and it takes him a while to win this he loses credibility

I'd laugh my arse off if somehow Stiverne exposed Joyce in any way. Anything other than a first round blowout is a black mark on Joyce.

He WAS better than Joyce's other opponents. Will he BE better? I guess we'll have to see. It's a long time out of the ring and a longer time since he was in shape. (Wilder I). Do you think he WILL be better than Joyce's other opponents? I guess I doubt it. State your case.
