It's the presenters who get my goat and highlight Davies for the buffoon he is.
They're talking boxing but have no clue at all and allow him to spout as if he's the oracle when he's saying basic facts.
Shouldn't they do some research? I think it's a bizarre tactic to try to 'educate' listeners, cause they sound equally dumbfounded by fighters that they spoke about a few months before when they were promoting the last fight.

Buncey on the other hand, love or hate him, is absolutely passionate about the sport and highly knowledgeable too.
For sure, but such a gaffawing, blustering buffoon.

He is a hardcore fan with a lot of years put in to have depth of knowledge. 50% of this forum know as much and could do that job as well imo
Who knows? You could say anyone would be as good as someone else at a job if they put the work.

But for me Bunce is a very good storyteller and has great powers of recollection. Yes he can be a twerp - annoys the hell out of me sometimes - but when you look at people like Gareth A Davies on the sidelines, it's a case of be careful what you wish for.

Didn't Kirsty Gallacher say that Gareth Davies has a 10-inch schlong and straps it to his thigh ?

Gareth took her out to a Giant Haystacks memorial party in Utoxeter 'just as friends' and it fell out of his denim shorts.

Or it might have been Georgie Thompson..

Maybe they seen the interview he had with Wilder before the fury fight and are mistaking the big turd that fell from his pants when Wilder gave him a bit of glare and shouted at him and not his shlong hahaha

I used to like listening to him, i liked his voice tone.......but the last 18 months or so, as he gets more airtime on talksport etc, ive started to think he is an absolute bell end

He is the John McCririck of the boxing world, someone whose character seems to have self indulgently grown bigger than the actual sport that he is paid to represent.

if you dress like a twat.........you are an attention seeker, in my humble opinion.

John McCririck
Gareth A Davies
and many others

People who are lucky enough to be in such auspicious journalistic positions within the sport we love should stop being such cock-juggling thundercunts.

He can only dream of being as well known as Johnny boy!
He looks like he's bust his nose a few times

As someone rightly pointed out above, his recent surge in appearences both televised and on the airwaves have revealed him to be a bit of a prat. Nothing wrong with that, if you stick to writing words. An average joe acting up.
