I would like to be wrong, of course.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑29 Dec 2018, 12:24Let’s see how he performs here.. I do think he’s wasted a good year of his prime. Back to back fights with Porter and Garcia was perfect even if it came nearly a year later..

Hopefully, this shows that Thurman's troubles are behind him. Fight will be tougher than expected, I suspect.
Re: Keith Thurman vs. Josesito Lopez - January 26, 2019
Honestly, I don't care about this match.
I would like to see Thurman against Spence or Crawford, that's it.

Re: Keith Thurman vs. Josesito Lopez - January 26, 2019
You don’t even need to watch this fight. Ready? Here’s how this fight goes. Lopez goes balls out for first 3 rounds and lands a few should that gets crowd going and then in the 4th or 5th he gets put on geek street and either the ref or his corner call the fight. It’s a carbon copy to every Lopez fight against a good fighter
Re: Keith Thurman vs. Josesito Lopez - January 26, 2019
Not going to be too hard for Thurman to get a ko/tko is it
Re: Keith Thurman vs. Josesito Lopez - January 26, 2019
Cool! It really felt like I was there, minus the 6-8 overpriced beers and having a perv at the ring girls and getting a dirty look from my Mrscaldo2025 wrote: ↑29 Dec 2018, 20:50 You don’t even need to watch this fight. Can't imagine Lopez has much of a shot here, but it'd be cool if the "Riverside Rocky" could pull off the upset here. I don't see it though. Even with Thurman having seemingly lost his luster as a fighter I don't think he's slipped far enough to get beat by the likes of Josesito Lopez.

Thurman-Lopez is an o.k. match considering Thurman's layoff. Crawford or Spence will knockout Thurman.

I really thought Thurman was going to be something special.

He looked like he was going to be the man at 147.
He was fighting the big dogs and he was mopping up the belts, then his career hit the buffers.
It's a bit of a shame, but I do hope he can get back, because he part of the reason why 147 is smoking and has been for a few years now.

Loving ITV4 at the moment.
It's like we've gone back 30 years when we could watch big fights and top fighters on free-to-air TV.
Long may it continue..

Josesito Lopez is coming to win. It's a great opportunity for him to become a champion.

I’m pretty excited for this fight. I like Thurman and this injury spell was horrible timing as it robbed us from a couple of possible super matchups.
But Thurman did the right thing. He vacated his belt so as to not tie up a hot division. He should be credited for doing that. Thurman, Crawford, Spence Jr and honestly, Manny too. If these guys start fighting each other, it could be the greatest divisional battles since the 80’s.

I read some stuff this week from Thurman. He’s a good dude. He definitely comes off like a dick in interviews on tv though. So this is a title fight? How in the heck? I don’t get boxingoogiebe wrote: ↑25 Jan 2019, 14:02You weren't excited earlier in the thread. What changed?caldo2025 wrote: ↑25 Jan 2019, 14:00 I’m pretty excited for this fight.
