Adam Kownacki

Post by MasterG »

Adam Kownacki destroyed Gerard Washington in 2 rounds last night taking him to 19-0 (15 ko's). Kownacki has only stepped up in competition in his last 5 outings but cant be far away from a world title shot if he keeps stepping up and winning.

Gotta face Breazeale now. It can develop to a war, where Kownacki will eventually take over. Then he can face either Ortiz or Povetkin, which can become his final test. Now he can handle them, as they are old. Kownacki isn't a technician, but he can deliver punches in series, he's relentless enough to do that and his volume is mauling. In the result he's fun to watch.

I guess, he can outfight the likes of Whyte and Parker. But those two won't face him in the nearest future. The Miller matchup is close, but they won't face either, cause they're sparring partners. Pulev can be a problem though, he can keep Kownacki at the end of the jab.

Agree that Kownacki vs Breazeale would be a good fight.

I can see Kownacki taking Breazeale who does nothing when under fire. He'll be outworked and outpunched.

He is really limited. Washington was perfect for him. He's about as far as he's going to come.

It's just a thin division. Joyce would cream him.

I like the sound of Breazeale against Kownacki.

I’m a big Breazeale fan. He’s shown loads of heart to get through some tight situations.

I’d favour him to survive an early onslaught and stop the Pole late.

I’m confused. Who do you consider to be the top 3? I know who people usually mean but one of them is in worse shape and was close to beating one of the others last time out.
