Arslanbek Makhmudov vs Jason Bergman RBR

Post by bbb636 »

the fight is about to start let see if my prediction that Makhmudov 5-0 5.ko will be a futur heavyweigt champion is still good.

they think that bergmann 27- 15- 2 - 18 k.o will give him some rounds.

This guy might be near the top very soon. I know, the level of his opponents was weak, and it is too early for the serious predictions.
Anyway, if I have to bet - I think he will be at the top 15 HW in 2021.

I disagree. He is certainly a prospect in every sense of the phrase. This fight didn't show off Makhumudov's best. Watch some vids of him. He has a tremendous and scary right uppercut. I'm looking forward to watching him step up his competition, which should be his next time out.

Top 15 could be early 2020, if he's moved up the ladder appropriately. We haven't seen him get hit too much, so it'll be interesting when he fights someone who fights back.

Right now, I consider him as a potential top level HW (something like Daniel Dubois).

The way Dubois is being handled, this guy could pass him up! :OhYes:

I hope he will not become the second Kudryashov (I mean overhyped EE).
BTW, I really don't know a lot about his amateur career (how many losses he had).
He looks very, very dangerous, he may be an actor, right now.

Hard to track down his record, at least for me, but he went on some wild winning streak once he was doing WSB, which affords more pro style fighters in the ams to excel. YouTube has many WSB fights for him.

He also spent time in MMA which is interesting because he's not so much an arm puncher, and I've been told MMA converts are usually such. (Miller; V. Klitchko; etc)

I haven't seen it tested, but maybe in ams or MMA. Just not seen. He looks awfully rugged though.

in an interview after the fight, bergmann said that he's never been hit so hard in his life..
"his power is special",he defenitely hit harder than wilder, but wilder is more accurate and precise. he got potentiel to go very far" he said.

from a guy who put the glove with wilder and fury that means a lot.
