Joshua has a nasty side, he doesn't like Whyte either, I think he will look to take him out early, my prediction will be inside 3.
However Whyte must have been affected by getting knocked out like that, he may not fancy getting in the trenches, so we may see a very negative performance by the Londoner.

Whyte knows the deal. It’s clear from Franks most recent interview Whyte didn’t even pick up the phone to speak to Queensbury.

Mostly no doubt due to Frank slagging him and Chisora off in the run up to the PPV clash.
I know he's not going too, as much as Hearn can be an arse, he does right by the fighters, he's given Whyte PPV fights, Hearns his Santa clause

Would obviously much rather see Wilder, Fury or even Miller in the states but I don't think anyone can argue that Whyte deserves his shot, I think Wilder vs Whyte would be a great scrap

If Joshua can take care of business early doors in this one, what’s to say he can’t do a late June date with Miller in New York?

I can see Joshua ending both fights early.

So...,

World No.2 is busy fighting World No. 3. and people are angry that we’re getting to see World No.1 vs World No. 4.

It’ll be a grand occasion and a very watchable fight. I’m looking forward to it.

If they had not have already fought I’d be looking forward to it.

Whyte deserves his chance. The fight actually makes sense too. Just finding it hard to get enthusiastic about it.

It’s not the worst fight but the problem is Joshua fights twice a year. I can totally understand if people aren’t keen on seeing him spend one of them going over old ground.

It's not especially interesting but I'm sure I'll end up watching it in the pub or over somebody's house. It'll be more fun than Pacquiao-Broner was.

Make sure your sitting down Lenny, because Joshua aims to be out 3 times this year :o
Realistically, he is sorta running out of opponents. Wilder doesn't seem to want a bar of him, Fury would probably take it after Wilder- unless there is a rematch, which is a good possibility. That leaves Whyte and the undeserving Miller. Or maybe they can break Pulev out of cryo :maybe: Sad days indeed.

by standards of the guys whove fought for hw titles past few years miller would be plenty deserving compared to most, not like aj or wilder did loads before there shots either.....and look who they won it from, chuck martin and stiverne

Gotta figure Usyk late in the year as an option.

Meh, dunno Oggie :maybe:
I doubt it this year.
I figure usky might have trouble securing decent opponents, given guys like Miller, Brazeale, et al want to sit back and wait for a payday.

Drugs testing is to say he can’t do late June is he takes this in April, not enough time to get on and off the gear without getting caught, hence why he only fights twice a year.

Don King is a pimp. He did that in Zaire. Came with George...left (or tried) with Ali.

Joshua's improved more than Whyte has (he's had the physical advantage of gaining useful weight), so this is one-way traffic unless AJ's lackadaisical about the whole thing.

That's my only pause for doubt — that Joshua was, if not intimidated by Whyte, very mindful of his threat last time. But Whyte's chin hasn't looked as tough since, and he's never lost the weight he needs to to reach his best, so I can't see him winning unless AJ turns up tubby, overlooking him for Wilder and Fury.

I've no problem with Whyte getting another shot, though.
