Vincent Feigenbutz vs Przemyslaw Opalach

Post by handsofstone »

This Saturday on Bocksnation Super Middleweight action from Germany, don't think ive seen Feigenbutz since he got stopped in the De Carolis rematch, he's on a run of about 8/9 wins, Nemesapati and Liebenberg the standouts, never heard of Opalach, from Poland 27-2 and a wide points loss to Ajetovic the only thing stands out

Feigenbutz isn't great but he's strong and aggressive I suppose

Sounds dreadful but its boxing

Feigenbutz stops Opalach in the 5th, brave showing from Opalach but it was one way traffic from the start, the taller upright Opalach was tailor made for Feigenbutz, no head movement from Opalach which made him an easy target for Feigenbutz's strong jab and right hands over the top, Opalach was wobbled in the 3rd and done very well not to go down , it was starting to get tough for him and Feigenbutz took him apart, busting him up pretty bad, when Feigenbutz staggered Opalach with a couple of clubbing right hands at the end of the 5th the ref rightly stepped in

Very one sided affair, Feigenbutz handed out a beatdown. Good stoppage.

I don't know what it is about Germany and flogging rubbish boxers to death in the hope they'll come good.

The referee's stoppage was the best thing about the fight. Feigenbutz had a decent jab.

When I saw BN had picked up this card I was a bit reluctant to devote Saturday night. I thought it might be like some those mind numbingly boring shows that Eurosport used to screen, however, it turned out to be a really good nights boxing.

1st fight was competitive until a cracking right hander ended the fight.

2nd fight decent 12 rounder.

3rd fight , a wild 2 round punch up.

4th fight really solid and exciting performance from Feigenbutz who showed the damage a good jab can do and basically by the 5th round was doing a number on Opalach.
