Good on him, got his marbles intact, made good money, why not go enjoy your family. I was never particularly a fan, but I did love watching him spank Eubank with ease.

Very good career, perhaps a sense that he could have done a little bit more though without being critical.

An obvious deep thinker.

Great effort against Froch in the first fight. But the outcome of second fight seemed to take something out of Groves. Just never quite the same after.

Lovely powerful long jab and crisp right hand. What he did to Froch in round 1 in that first fight was beyond impressive.

id say he was at his career high point after frich, ppl sometimes forget he had sloppy rough moments prior to froch as well, the froch fights (and degale) surprised because he was sharper then wed seen b4 and come to expect

imo its totally a myth that froch sent him back as a fighter

He was one of my favourite in contemporary boxing. But his chin was very fragile... Maybe is the best thing he can do.
