Lol
Hearn needs to get tough on these clowns and just stop negotiating at some point. He looks like a pushover upping the price for whyte every time. Folks are going to play him for a fool.

I don't think even Miller would have the front to ask for a 50-50 split lol.oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Jan 2019, 20:00Oh ok...that makes more sense! Re: Whyte rejects third offer to fight Joshua
has HEARN even offered WHYTE 25% to fight AJ yet ?
Re: Whyte rejects third offer to fight Joshua
Should take Breazeale tbh. Most likely to get him he WBC mando (even though it will take forever) and easiest fight. Other two would be better to watch, with Povetkin least likely to get him a mandatory shot as Ortiz is ranked better at the moment. Happily watch him in any of those fights though.

I just read Hearn is saying his offer to Whyte is 40%.
Whyte claims his final offer was a flat fee
Re: Whyte rejects third offer to fight Joshua
Regarding Miller, he now says he's been offered an NFL contract and if his next fight isn't against AJ, he's going to play football for more money.
He's freakin' 30 years old. Who would sign him to play football with his lack of experience and his age!? Please...someone knock him TFO!

I'm sure with Miller's sheer athleticism, he'd fit right in in the NFL.

HEARN says WHYTE must take less than 40% to fight AJ---HEARN won't say what % he is offering. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/01/wh ... tkin-next/

Didn’t Joseph Parker receive around 35% and Dillian Whyte has headlined three PPV’s and have also beaten the aforementioned Kiwi?dickbelden wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 19:39 HEARN says WHYTE must take less than 40% to fight AJ---HEARN won't say what % he is offering. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/01/wh ... tkin-next/
Apart from Klitschko, none of AJ’s opponents bring the sort of money to the negotiating table than what Whyte brings, except for the notable exception of Fury and Wilder.

Why? Are you suggesting that Parker generates more money or the same than Whyte does?

Whyte had his big payday fight against Del Boy, he couldn't secure Wilder despite having the silver belt. What other options that pay big money does he have left?
Parker was an unbeaten belt caretaker, who has a savvy team around him that literally launched a smear campaign against Joshua to get him to fight Parker. Then they hard balled the negotiations to get the 33%.
Whyte has nothing like that going for him. He is mandatory, he has that. But it isn't really a money making opportunity, more of a formality that could get pushed aside for another 10 months or more. And even then, go to a purse bid, who is going to win that?

Parker doesn’t deserve to receive a bigger purse against AJ than Whyte does. It’s like saying that David Lemieux should have received a better payday than Canelo got when he faced GGG, simply because the Canadian held the IBF strap that Golovkin wanted, whilst the Mexican was merely a bog-standard title challenger.gregregegg wrote: ↑01 Feb 2019, 01:39Parker had a belt that AJ wanted. thats why he got 33%.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 21:19Why? Also, according to various reports: Alexander Povetkin received a £6m payday to face Anthony Joshua; Joseph Parker was paid just under £6.5m for the AJ bout; whilst Eddie Hearn’s third and latest offer to Dillian Whyte, which has been rejected, is only £5m.
This seems strange considering Dillian Whyte has headlined three PPV events in the UK. He’s a bigger financial draw than both Povetkin and also Parker.
