What does Cheesman do from here , Well first of all CHANGE TRAINERS , that stupidity of dropping his hands and calling punches on was stupid , against a big puncher its brain damage and an accident waiting to happen , absolutly stupid and his corner should of bollocked him big time , But what do they say , rnd 11 he's well beat and advice is hit the body , fook off at that rnd he's not gonna kill the body .

Then analize where he went wrong , well he was just beat by a better boxer on the night for that theres no answer , but watching it with some people , i said early on , Cheesman is never gonna win he's one handed , I spotted straight away , it stood out so far it hit you in the head , he , could'nt get that left hand off his jab was missing , and his left hook was'nt a left hook , his distancing was rubbish , and EVERY left hook was landing , when it landed , with the inside of the wrist , i don't think he landed with the knuckle , Technicly Cheesman just was'nt on the same level , he needs to go to another trainer .

117-111 Garcia for me, Cheeseman comprehensively outboxed there, nothing wrong with his heart and will to win, he never stopped coming forward and his late rally tightened the scores on my card but his total lack of regard for defence was brutally exposed, sometimes he'd just have his hands down by his side inviting Garcia to hit him clean, he makes Eggington look like Willie Pep

I liked the look of Garcia, he spent most of the fight on the backfoot but he wasn't running and wasn't always countering, he puts his shots together very well, good defensively, Cheeseman did land but never clean enough to have an effect, Garcia was always able to take the sting out of the punches with his movement, he had the engine to rival Cheeseman as well which allowed him to stay ahead at all times, great performance, weathered the late storm and even though he had to work hard every round he was a clear cut winner

Hopefully this wasn't enough to ruin Teds career, he needs to go down to inter continental level to get some confidence and experience before looking to move up again.
It will be interesting to see how good Garcia is, he was brought in as he had a good record but had only beat journeymen and a few other guys with protected records. Is Cheesmen well overrated or is the Spaniard the real deal?

Masterclass from Garcia , mixed the punches up well and slipped most of what cheeseman was throwing ,
As Eddie said all about levels and clearly Ted is not at this level .
Brave to the cause but took a right beating .

He was #4 with the WBC before tonight's win so won't be too far off a shot at Harrison down the line, in theory anyway.

European champions from mainland Europe are always a bit if a mystery, outwith maybe Germany and Russia, the rest of the European domestic scene is pretty low level, Spanish, Italian and French champs for instance are generally poorer than British champs so when I see a European champ winning a vacant title I'm not always convinced their European class although in all fairness you can say the same if a Brit wins a vacant Euro belt

Garcia looks the goods though but Cheeseman showed next to no skill in there

Just needs some more tuning.
I worry he didn't adjust to Garcia's left hook counter- that worries me.
