First knockdown in Terry Norris-Simon Brown I was off a jab.

Was a solid shot but Norris had already been clocked by some awful right hands & right uppercuts (& a couple right uppercuts to the body that should've broke his ribs)... like a lot these jab knockdowns it just seemed to jar Norris so badly he never really recovered. Brown KO'd him in the 4th.

Curtis twice asked Rengifo if he was OK and the fighter ignored him so Curtis did what he did, even though many remember Curtis for stopping Mike Weaver prematurely against Mike Dokes. Another great fight is the one between Victor Callejas and Loris Stecca in Italy in 1985 in which the gifted Callejas, who ultimately wasted his talent, is rocked to his boots by a beautiful straight left from Stecca but Callejas rode out the subsequent storm and came back to break the Italian's jaw and win on a retirement.

cause its a straight with the lead hand but has more body in it, seen kovalev acore a few kds with that and hurt some other guys

personally, i think this sort of situation requires some nuance. Pongsaklek used to land that straight right hand very effectively and often, for example.
