my picks are.....

Heavyeight
1 Ali Muhammad United States Heavyweight
2 Louis Joe United States Heavyweight
3 Dempsey Jack United States Heavyweight
4 Jackson Peter Australia Heavyweight
5 Frazier Joe United States Heavyweight
6. Johnson
Cruiserweight
Gomez
Toney
Tiozzo Fabrice France Cruiserweight 1392.6
Wamba Anaclet France Cruiserweight 1374.0
Norris Orlin United States Cruiserweight 1350.8
Michalczewski Dariusz Poland Cruiserweight 1345.0

Women
Just as the software correctly dictated:
1 Rijker Lucia Netherlands JuniorWelterweight 1951.1
2 Holm Holly United States JuniorWelterweight 1658.1
3 Martin Christy United States JuniorWelterweight 1636.4
4 Braekhus Cecilia Norway Welterweight 1547.5
5 Halmich Regina Germany Flyweight 1538.1
6 Ward Vonda United States Heavyweight 1472.2

I think the computer got it right. So my pics are pretty much the current top six ratings in every category.

FYI.....Ali never ducked a fight, even if you feel he did......HOWEVER a lot of ducking of Ali took place.....

IN this case all is forgiven, I would duck that fella myself. But he should not be penalized for the fact that he was avoided.

I'm frankly insulted that Toney isn't the #1 seed over Gomez, but he'll win his bracket, and show everyone who's boss around here anyway.

I have no problems with the picks given. I'd go with Marciano instead of Peter Jackson at Heavyweight, but I'm not sure who's resume is better between Jack Johnson and Peter Jackson.

The picks of Ali, Joe Louis, Frazier and Dempsey are locks. Marciano and Johnson round out the list for me, but I could be swayed toward Peter Jackson possibly if he has a better overall resume.

James Toney, Gomez, Orlin Norris, Dariusz Michalczewski, and then just to see it one more time for the hell I say Anaclet Wamba, and Vassily Jirov need to be in this thing. But I'd have no problem with Huck or Tiozzo being in there either.

I agree with this list for the Women

Rijker
Holm
Martin
Braekus
Halmich
Mathis

Vonda Ward never had the guts to take on the much shorter Braekhus all throughout the season so she should have to sit in the stands while the true greats among the women tower over her.

so I'm going to end the season with these tournaments so we ca have a bit of closure on the year and start fresh with a new season.

vote in this thread for who you think deserves to be in the tournament for each the Heavyweights, Cruiserweights and the Women. (remember Joe Frazier is automatically entered for winning the MDT) I'll leave this up for a week or 2 before running the fights so that hopefully people make their votes,

my picks are.....

Heavyeight
Joe Frazier(auto)
Ali
Louis
Dempsey
Johnson
my last choice is either Jackson or Marciano, haven't decided yet

Cruiserweight
Gomez
Toney
Tiozzo
Huck
Mormeck
Norris

Women
Rijker
Holm
Martin
Braekus
Halmich
Mathis

I guess everyone else lost interest....oh well, I still want to do the super six, I'll tally up the votes later tonight and see who will be in the tourneys.

If Ward don't make the cut, then just screw the entire civilized world.

A tall drink of water like Vonda don't get a break? It aint right.....she's top rated, top ranked, top shelf, and like I've always said, she towers over the competition. The computer has her in the top six on merit. However....those who were jealous of her, have schemed against her. She had the best legs in the game. The longest Jab, and yes we admit that she always looked down on her opponents. Some of you may imagine that this indicates a condescending attitude in general, I can promise you she had no other choice.

Reconsider, review, re-assess, resubmit, and repent!

C'mon, she was the tallest ducker of the season. Well, maybe I'm too sharp in my critics and the girl was just to tall to hear the challenges, so she was forced to accept that bumfighting destiny. But it is what it is.

Well the computer, which has no bias, and is not fraught with jealousy or given to petty squabbles says different. The computer has no "hidden agenda". It's a travesty.

I know you are only joking (should I say I think you're only joking?) but in case you aren't...

Because I was bored I had a quick look over all the Results pages back to wk 14. During that time Anne Sophie Mathis was able to beat the great Regina Halmich, the even greater Lucia Rijker, and also Ragosina, Nava and Vonda Ward herself twice (once without management). She just wasn't a managed fighter long enough to have officially surpassed the tall Ward before the end, who managed only to beat Amanda Serrano (and a few underwhelming unmanaged fighters) during the same time.

The truth is Vonda Ward probably isn't even worthy of the top 10, though hopefully you had some fun managing her.

You sir, opine, whereas the COMPUTER does not opine. It assesses. Computers are very smart indeed. I suggest you surrender your opinion to the greater thought processes of a computer. A vote for Ward is a vote for the future. She is the AOC of the Sim. And she is rated #6......above all but five others, who somehow unjustly got rated ahead of her.

But when they all stand side by side, she clearly stands above every other fighter. Opinions, ore cotten candy, and cotton candy melts quickly when one salivates. However facts will stick doggedly in ones throat, for they are stubborn things.
