It looks like I started a debate. I honestly don't think he'll do it because he won't be as consistent as Floyd but it'll fun to watch him try.

He only needs more fights than he's already had with a minimum of the same 32 million. The problem is American people don't care about boxing.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑08 Feb 2019, 15:04Hmmm, at the same stage in their careers, Mayweather has just made $8m fighting Baldomir, the biggest payday of his career at that point.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑07 Feb 2019, 22:39He's nowhere near positioned to surpass may weather. At least he can retire Miller so he can go fulfill his dream of playing offensive tackle for the Cleveland Browns.to Wilder, and/or Fury and beyond. He's positioned right now to surpass Money Mayweather but he has to keep the winning streak continuing.
Joshua has already surpassed that a few times.
Joshua doesn’t have the big names at his weight that Floyd did around him though. He’s also more likely to lose than Floyd was so both will hurt his chances of earning what Floyd did, that and longevity.
For Joshua to get anywhere near Floyds career earnings he would probably need Wilder to do a number on Fury in their rematch and then have an up and down fight with him before a mega money rematch. Then go another 5 years undefeated and hope a couple of big names emerge on the scene ( preferably from the US too )
As I say unlikely but Joshua is on course as it stands![]()
