Erickson Lubin vs Ishe Smith

Post by chuck9788 »

How do you see this fight playing out tonight?

Lubin (19-1, 14 KO's) is a knockout artist and Ishe Smith (29-10, 12 KO's) has never been stopped in his 39 pro fight career. In fact Smith was competitive vs current world champion Tony Harrison in his previous outing last May. Lubin is 17 years younger.

Lubin should be able to win that one. I think it'll probably be by UD, but he might stop him.

Lubin should win. I'm just surprised that Ishe is still fighting, Harrison fight notwithstanding.

Lubin by dominant decision.

The jury is out on his chin after that Charlo debacle.

But he's too quick for Smith, who is 40.

A KO win would be a bit of a surprise. But of course Smith hasn't been very successful lately, and at his age, Smith may be ready to completely fall apart.

Lubinson needs to be in fights where he goes rounds. Learn to box instead relying on power.

Ishe Smith is announcing his retirement at 40 following the first KO defeat of his career.

Wise decision. Hope he sticks to it.

For now. Give him a couple months and he'll decide it was just an off night and he still has something left in the tank.

Fighters fight. That's what they know.

Has Groves announced his return yet?
