He was a persistent offender, had a background in trafficking and was buying what, a kilo of coke? What do you expect to happen? Nunn is obviously completely mentally retarded.
Just speaking generally really. You can get less for murder.
In the U.S.???
I don’t know, think it varies depending on the state. But again, I was just speaking generally. 15 years for any kind of drug offence is ridiculous.

Is that still the case?

I recall that Jumbo Cummings, the guy who shook Bruno down to his boots, was sent down on a three strikes rule. When I googled him last week, I noted he had been released.

I don't know the ins and outs but it def still applies. It way well vary in diff states, depending on the charges, and there may be some leave for appeals etc.

If you're a black guy with a successful athletic career behind you, you can cut your white wife's head off and gore her white boyfriend, and they might not even put you in jail for murder.

Not to mention leading running from the police in a televised pursuit and then giving fame and fortune to the lawyer responsible for those Kuntdashian sisters.

yeah, 'stitched up' as in arrested, tried and found guilty/convicted, what a fvcking stitch up
Regardless of the circumstances of Nunn’s case, you do know that being found guilty in American & English courts is no guarantee of actual guilt, let alone being arrested and charged, yeah?

Being caught with a Kilo of coke results in intent to distribute which is why he got 15 years. (probably more but got off early, I'd guess).

Well yeah since there's far more people who should be in prison but aren't than there are in prison but shouldn't be.

It reeks of it. I'd have been tempted by the deal myself and I've never bought or sold a drug in my life.

Here in Australia , he could of sold half of it , shoved the other half up his nose , gone out and done a home invasion , hijacked a car , pulled up and beat and robbed a couple of shop keepers , gone down the street , and beat and stole the phones of a couple of 15 year old kids , , And if they even bothered looking for him , he probably would be let of with a caution saying its not his fault he's black ,and has a drug problem , , Then IF he was charged , a profesional crier would intervein , tell the judge its not his fault because he saw atrocities in Africa , and come here when he was a child to escape , promise he will be good even though its his 28th offence , he would get another good behavior bond and be set free , only to find out after he was born here .

Now you all think , this is tongue in cheek , or bullshit , let me tell you ITS NOT ,

We need the American system , at least they lock them up .

Britain isn’t that lenient on a Kilo of Class A. It sounds fishy that he thought he was buying it for $200, though. You’d have to be backwards to believe that.

Well you got to be dumb , to believe you'll get a kilo for 2oo bucks , But the prisons are full of absolute dumb fookers , thats why a lot are there , I actually had a guy who worked for me ,

Him and his wife got time for trying to have his wifes, ex bumped off , the judge gave them a reduced sentence because they were so dumb , They claimed he used to tie her up , bring his mates home and charge them to have a ride , beat her , ec t ect , apparantly he come back on the scene started threatening them ,scared the life out of them .

So they approached a local bikie , to off him , Will add they did'nt know any nasty people , so approached this bikie , right oof the street , walked up to him in a pub did'nt know him , Bikie was in trouble with law and apparantly grassed them up in return for a walk ,,

Bikie arranged for them to meet with hit man , who was an undercover cop , he got them on record arguing how to do it what to do ect ect they agrred the money , argued they were not going to pay till job done , cop managed to get 100 dollars deposit , they got arrested ,

Judge apparantly said it was like listening to a comedy movie , asked them what the hell did they think was gonna happen when they had no money to pay said killer , they lived day to day , were both bankcupt and could'nt get 2 bob together never mind 20 grand they were gonna pay , they done 4 years each , both came working for me after they got out , absolute pair of dimwits , ,I actually liked them , 2 great workers and very reliable trustworthy workers , could'nt thank me enough for giving them a job ,

My missis was astounded , when i told her what they done , but like the judge i just found it all to be so stupid , it was more funny , they could make a comedy movie out of it , prisons are full of dimwits

If only it were that simple. The US governement and State authorities absolutely neglect certain parts of America and its citizens. These are facts.

Drugs, both using and supplying, are often the only perceived way out of absolute destitution and abject poverty.

People raised in poverty simply dont have the same opportunities as those born into security and affluence. I accept that this wont be a popular opinion amongst those hardened people who believe that everyone is equal and you can simply get on in life if you want to. The world we live in isnt equal. Yes, one must take responsibility and do the right things but if you live in a neighbourhood when you are the victim of police brutality or state neglience, where schooling is below standard then it becomes a dog-eat-dog world.

Parts of America are not far off being third world. Big racial divides for a reason. Poverty creates crime.

I hope Nunn gets back into boxing in the training way it would be great to see him doing something for the kids as he has a wealth of experience to pass on.
Stitched up? He went there with the intention of buying cocaine,i wouldnt want him anywere near a boxing gym were kids are training.

To be fair chump there are probably lots of people in boxing who have been involved with selling drugs and what not and they will be working with kids week in week out.
