Last minute Rivera looked disoriented and out of his zone.

Rivera needs to change course, LSC boxing away and catching him enough to pile up the points.

LSC steady with the boxing and winning him the rounds.
Rivera does have a chance in the fight because he has enough power to jolt LSC, he's going to have to initiate toe to toe brawls to turn this around.

Going through the motions now, LSC switches stance in the last minute to confirm that.

SC can turn up the heat and get a stoppage if he wants IMHO.

2,000 punches. I wouldn't say ho hum, except the winner was never really in doubt.

Scorecards

119-109 X3
LSC wins a UD.

If I had to rank that fight out of 10 it wouldn't get higher than 4.

I like LSC but the fight was theatrical at best.
First few rounds sure it was ok, Rivera was game but it was very one sided boxing wise.

Santa Cruz should find another profession.

imagine landing punches at will on someone for 36 mins and you don't even make a dent on them, you lack the power to even give em a fat lip or black eye, nothing. It's utterly pathetic. Like a bowler incapable of getting a strke, or a tennis player incapable of serving an ace.

He doesn’t have that much power behind his shots. They are point scoring shots though. Boxing isn’t always about knocking someone out. He clearly can go 12 rounds and not tire.
