I think he's ok. His leg did look to buckle, but he just got caught cold just like his FOX debut. What a coincidence though huh? Crazy that the same thing happens to the same guy in the debut HW event following a huge network deal.

Hopefully Ricky cashed. I remember doing a blog after the fox deal saying it should be hendo/rua. Dan retweeted it
That might be the quickest money i ever made. Needed that to get even for the weekend, put some stupid bets on Figeroua and LSC to win by stoppage that got me in a hole. Also took some money on Gracieto win by Sub in r1 given the hype around him, that was a nice win.
:TU:

Nice job Ricky.

Thanks man, roll on next weekend. I try to bet almost exclusively on the fight game now, everything else is too hard.

Big on Yarde to make quick work of Reeves :TU:

No I don't think it had anything to do with a punch. He went down strange on that knee and turned away from the fight. edit- OK now I can see there was a punch connected right then. And that's the kind of power Ngannou can generate. (I just woke up)

I see some people saying his knee gave out. It probably did but it’s clear as day his knee gave out because he limp after a short punch. Sucks his knee got hurt but honestly he was done. He wasn’t going to recover well enough after that shot whether his knee buckled or not before Ngannou caught him again.

Yup, this why i love betting on r1 in UFC fights; the odds always seem to be too good to be true imo. It's hard getting early stoppages in boxing because you get 10 seconds + to recover when you eat a hard shot. In the UFC there is just nowhere to go. Best case scenario you lie face down on the canvas with your gloves over your face but there's seldom a way out of there. Cain's chin was in no mans land when he ate that short uppercut, the result was the same wether his knee buckled or not, that big fuckker was pouring it on from there either way.

There is a video released by Mac Life showing Cain having knee issues during one of the open workouts during media week.

Rumor is the UFC are trying to tee up Ferguson vs Holloway to co-headline with Adesayna vs Gasterlum for ufc 236 in April. Both for interim titles.
