Bob Arum's comments today appear to confirm that Fury could potentially face Wilder next. This fight hasn't been ruled-out just yet.

think it is a smart move, Arum can help make the rematch generate more money that ESPN coverage shouldn't be underestimated

Yeah really we need to move things along here.
yep and if Fury Wilder don't happen next then Wilder should just go for the undisputed fight
Is Joshua vs Miller already a done deal? Joshua vs Fury is the fight that I wanted as I considered Fury the people's champion, not to mention his lineal claim.
Must be a done deal.

Tickets are already on sale at MSG.
yes it is i meant after so have a fight in may probably vs Kowanaski and then try and make the fight with aj

I'm for the the immediate rematch. I found the decision too corrupt to remain unfixed for some longer time. Hopefully this deal of Fury won't spoil anything.

It will depend if Bob Arum gets his way I guess because WBC president said he wants the fight to happen. Arum thinks it will do more buys in September, with tuneups in the meantime.

I love Bob Arum when he gets fights made, not so much when he obstructs them.

Doesn't sound like he's obstructing, just delaying, until it's held at a time that's more lucrative.

I'm sure the fighters have no problem with that rationale.

OK assuming that he is correct that the fight will sell more. But suppose there are more PPV's scheduled at the end of the year for it to compete with, or that people lose interest for some reason. Maybe one man looks sloppy in his tuneup, for example.

If there is no Fury-Wilder then Wilder fights Breazeale next.

That means Ortiz vs Whyte will get ordered for the mandatory spot. I see Whyte walking away from that and waiting for Joshua money.

WBC ordered Breazeale v Whyte for the Interim Title only a week or so ago. This obviously changes things. So it might depend whether the WBC let Wilder take an opponent of his choice as a mandatory or whether they'll even have a mandatory. Otherwise, if it's a voluntary defence i think it would be Kownacki personally, perhaps Breazeale next, then anybody but Whyte.
