boxing_rocks wrote: 12 Feb 2019, 18:18 I don't like these monthly threads. If a fight gets cancelled, it is hard to replace it. With individual threads, you just drop one and create a new one instead.

Much more manageable.. if a fight changes, assume it drops out. If an opponent swaps in last minute.. chances are it's not really a big fight anymore.
But with individual threads, you could have added another one ...
Yup and I'll make an additional thread if absolutely required.. but the new style is staying.

No, Mar-9 is correct. JCS simply must have forgotten to change the date on the scheduling table.

And also, JCS, on the scheduling table, there is still a note from last season, "#Equal credit given for round 7/8 pick". I think it's safe to say that this note might be deleted now...

Thanks, will fix on next update.

As for schedule updates... I'll be adding fights on or just after 20th of the month... then they'll be posted when I update schedule/threads..

Just a reminder guys.. (lazboy) the pick threads are for picks, not quoting.

Anyone else think that the Hammer/Shields fight would be a nice addition to the April action? Is that something that is easy for JCS to add? Just curious.... might as well be a pain in your ass after being made fun of and scolded earlier in this thread and contest.  :OhYes:

Well, since JCS' software is automated, it doesn't work without commas... :TU:

Too bad Wilder vs Breazeale wasn't in there. I was looking forward to picking Wilder KO 1

Can't see Breazeale getting past the 3rd at best.

Hey, fellas, a lot of you spell Navarrete surname in the wrong way at the May thread. Don't be surprised after that.

nah, md is automatic close. can only be wide if its a ud
CLOSE = Fight's decision is a split decision, majority decision, or a unanimous decision where the total difference in points are 10 (8 for 10-rounder) or less for the winning fighter.

WIDE = Fight's decision is a unanimous decision where the total difference in points are between 11 and 19 (9 and 16 for 10-rounder) for the winning fighter.

Ah I see. Although that means one strange judge score ruins it,

Dear JCS, I just wanted to ask you why the April Fight Pick thread is still attached to the very top of the forum... The May thread is now not pinned anymore, but April...? :TU:

IMPORTANT:

JCS, I have used both of my "3X" bonuses, but it still Shows as if I had one left… So, the personal bonuses have not been substracted as they should have been. I used a 3X in March for the Lomachenko fight, and another one for the May fight for Canelo. Maybe those for May have not yet been counted off? That would be an explanation… :TU:
