Hmmm, some people said exactly the same after the Saunders fight. Eubank is just not a particularly skilled boxer, he relies solely on workrate and stamina.
That said, I’ve always thought he’d be a nightmare for DeGale for that exact reason. It is a genuine 50-50 at this stage of DeGale’s career.

I see what you're saying. It's not just about technique though, it's also about experience, being calm under pressure, sticking to a gameplan and playing to your strengths etc. Eubank has been overrated in the past, but it's not a reason to underrate him now. He still seems as cocky as ever and he's been through some hard times, so you would see that as having strengthened his game overall.

Personally I'll never overrate cej and give him too much respect,it just simply comes down to the fact he will be able to impose himself over this version of DeGale,however unclever the pressure may be,he'll be able to impose his will

i think like you said eubank would be unbearable, and as de gale and eubanks seem to socializein the same circles , de gale has to give it his all tonight, and in reailty its a retirement for de gale as if he loses , he wont be amongst the world class rankings no more

They do move in the same circles & there is genuine needle here I think,that's the most interesting part of the fight
I was quite surprised when I looked at coupon for the fight in the bookies this morning. Eubank clear favourite and to win inside the distance. From memory Eubank 8/13 and De Gale 6/5.
Bookies are not often wrong. I'm with them Eubank stoppage win 8/9/10 rounds , De Gale punched to a standstill.
