wow Miller really did his best to get under AJ's skin

Post by apollo creed »

Miller is strong as a bull. AJ was rattled and very nervous repeating “Bow to me when you see me. I’m your Landlord”

Interesting match. :box:

Aj looks 'skinny' compared with Miller. I wonder how much Miller weighs?

About the same as an Argentinosaurus.

Miller is a lard bucket and he is going to find out very quickly that hauling all that lard around against top flight opposition is not really a good idea.

Yeah I think AJ plans to punish him via brutal stoppage. I must say Miller acted like a lunatic and the ol' gettho- afro slavery bs that Wilder played too became so cringey and lame. But yeah Miller succeed to rattle AJ.

Easy work for AJ, he's not gonna roll around outside the ring, not his style, fighting light heavyweight's is no preparation for fighting AJ, Miller won't know what's hit him.

glad aj doesnt bite to the same old ally catz street nonsense, i really doubt aj was worried about millers talk at all, same speak different city its fighting not chess , but this is a huge fight for aj as he is away from home and in new york on the world stage , i think the americans will take to aj . looks the part big muscles athletic also quite laid back , but respectful talks well

Figures. Miller started mindgames and he is a diffrent character from what AJ fought before. And also Miller ain't gonna waste this and coming to win.

Wondering how far he will go. But then again AJ might just beat up Miller on fight day. But then again hoping for a good build up and seeing AJ in new waters like the US-market.

It could happen. Although Miller is not a polished boxer, he is strong and he shows no fear, no respect. Dude looks he could take huge punches.

Yeah if you look at AJ's face expression he is rattled and surprised about how disrespectful was Miller with him. Miller has a very bad habbit to be so dirty when it comes to rattle his opponent and break his concentration.

Mentally, Joshua always seems like a sensitive, insecure guy who could fall apart if pushed from his comfort zone.

Interesting to see if the combination of the tough, rambunctious Big Baby and fighting outside the friendly confines of the UK leaves Joshua uncertain and vulnerable.

So far he doesn't appear comfortable.

They pose them face to face like that so something "exciting" can happen to put more asses in the seats. Really boxing has become more and more to resemble WWE wrestling than a real sport, from this staged baloney to the obviously fixed up refs and judges and boxers coming into the ring wearing Halloween masks. All it needs is a boxer grabbing a folding chair from ringside and hitting it over the head of his opponent!

Definitely. Also I expect Miller to bring even more garbage till the fight will begin. Miller is gonna try to rattle AJ and stir the shit as much as he can.

I don't see it having that much of an effect come fight night. It does seem like this phoney-war stuff makes AJ uncomfortable, but once the bell rings and he can finally throw punches into Miller's face he'll be fine. No chance he "falls apart" anyway.

I have been a backer of Miller getting a go at someone for a while though, and given that he was obviously going to do more than his fair share of hyping a big fight I'm just surprised it has taken even this long for him to get a shot.

Fake or not, AJ is a class act and a gentleman. Miller is like AB. He is trying to sell himself with his bad mouth and ol' hood antics.

The only opponent Anthony Joshua gas to worry about is Anthony Joshua.

Forget about what's on the line, forget about what the Americans will think, forget about any crap that Miller's been coming out with - this is purely business. This joker needs dismantling inside 6-8 rounds or sooner.

And Anthony Joshua is going to do it systematically by reducing this defence to target practice. Miller will be crying for real by the end.

Gonna be a good fight!

If Miller can do this to AJ then Fury gonna eat him up more or less.

I think he'll make a fight of it. His conditioning or lack thereof will ultimately fail him though.

The only thing that could go wrong in this fight for AJ is the pressure-size of Miller. It could be suffocating and demoralizing to see a 'walrus' like Miller keep coming at you and take your best shots. I hope AJ is gonna sharpen his jab and his footwork. :box:

I think the first stiff shot Miller receives will change his entire approach to the fight. This fight is levels up from any fight he's ever had. It's going to be shocking to him and he'll be pounded to dust.

I hope so. Miller looks like a much bigger version of Tua, size wise. It will be interesting to see how Miller is gonna take AJ's first solid shot.

I don't think Miller has ever been down has he? The highest profile fight he's been in to date were his two K-1 matches with Cro Cop. He lost but he went the distance in both so I'm thinking he's got a pretty solid chin.

Tua was a more sound boxer and had exceptional power. Tough to make that comp, IMO.
