Joe Joyce vs. Bermane Stiverne - February 23, 2019
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Bermane Stiverne - February 23, 2019
Stiverne should be taken out to the woodshed on his lack of training. Doesn't he have any self-respect at all? Lump of shvt.

Yeh. Ha! He’s had over a year and weighs even more.SenorPipino wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 18:23
About 255.
Stiverne scaled 239 for Wilder l.
Claimed he didn't have adequate time to train and drop weight for the rematch.
What's Stiverne's excuse for this one?

I still think miller has the fattest arse but Stiverne has the more impressive breasts.

Re: Joe Joyce vs. Bermane Stiverne - February 23, 2019
So the WBA has decided to proclaim this fight a title eliminator and the winner gets a shot at that comical belt Charr holds.
So if Joyce throws out his shoulder sinking his fist deep inside Stiverne's gut and has to quit, then Stiverne could end up challenging for the world championship (regular version).
Kind of puts into perspective the lunacy of sanctioning bodies.

I hope the dressing rooms aren't too far from the ring.
He might be the first pro to get gassed on the ring walk since Butterbean.

I agree but no doubt miller has a Serena Williams arse, even if it’s muscle it’s bigger and sexier than Stivernes. I know you know this.tiny_acres wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 22:13Miller is a big man but he is not flabby like Stiverne. Not even close

What are the purses?
Whatever they are, Stiverne is being paid far too much just to plod into the ring and fall down.
He could have at least gotten into some form of shape and gave the appearance of a credible opponent.
Now it's just a joke.

The lunacy of sanctioning bodies cannot be debated. But I don't look at it that way. I look at it as an undefeated prospect (Joyce) is fighting a fast fading has been (Stiverne) and the winner fights a veteran with a respectable record (Charr).SenorPipino wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 23:01 So the WBA has decided to proclaim this fight a title eliminator and the winner gets a shot at that comical belt Charr holds.

There is NO title involved as far as I'm concerned. Just fighters fighting each other, which is a good thing.

Joyce’s Commonwealth belt is on the line.. only legitimate belt..Tony1244 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 12:13The lunacy of sanctioning bodies cannot be debated. But I don't look at it that way. Ok, I can go for that. It's regional.
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Bermane Stiverne - February 23, 2019
I would be suprised if there is a third round. Joyce KO1 @4-1 looks a cheap bet
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Bermane Stiverne - February 23, 2019
This fat bastard Stiverne makes this a bad situation for Joyce as well. If he somehow survives a few rounds, it will look bad for Joyce. If he gets blown out in one, it does nothing for Joyce. Stiverne has made himself a pariah in this fight. All this does is make more time go by for Joyce's development and upward movement. 273 LBS of lazy unmotivated arse. Joyce's team better make a really good matchup in his next outing. There's no benefit for Joe at all, IMHO.

Joyce has already read he expects it to go 6-8 rounds. But knows the public expect a quick one.. so cuz he’s said upto 8 rounds, when he does finish it quicker, he’d have beaten his own prediction.oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 14:50 This fat bastard Stiverne makes this a bad situation for Joyce as well.
