They will both be ranked on very similar terms as pro's..... some might argue that Groves was a tad lucky to get the decision vs DeGale.... It was razor tight and very very dull. Personally I remember wanting the judges to go for Groves - not through any favouritism just cos I thought he fought tactically much smarter. But I was not confident on that.
It could be argued that in subsequent world title fights there might have been some "Karma" as DeGale was possibly a tad lucky vs Dirrell and definitely lucky vs Jack...... people seem to have forgotten that Groves vs Jack was also razor tight and could have easily gone to Groves.

Nowt wrong with disliking someone. But I believe in the saying “if you haven’t got something good to say, don’t say it.”
Constructive criticism is fine but
It just says a lot about a man IMO if he is able to admit he doesn’t like someone but refrains from saying bad things about said person. I guess I also thought Groves was of that ilk but guess not.
But I can also see how people appreciate the brutal honesty

DeGale was hard on Groves throughout his career, right up to very recent times. Cant blame Groves for his comments at all.black panther wrote: ↑26 Feb 2019, 12:55 Groves may be right about Degale but where I’m from you don’t kick a man when he’s down.

He's toned it down a bit with Degale's official announcement.

I dislike that tweet even more as it is dishonest. It is his response to criticism and not being honest to his feelings.
