Kabayel and Schwarz win in Germany

Post by oogiebe »

Agit Kabayel won a UD over Andriy Rudenko.
Tom Schwarz won via 2 RD KO over Kristijan Krstacic.

No details available yet, although I have to say that Kabayel's opponent, ranked 103 by BoxRec and 35 y/o has to be a disappointment. Seems Agit has plateaued in his development. Schwarz has yet to be impressive especially considering his ranking (13th BoxRec).

lol schwarz has beat no one, the boxrec rating is obviously hugely inflated. dont treat him like hes more then a guy fighting total stiffs that some ppl continually excuse because 'hes so so young;'. his competition makes it look like kabayels fought murderers row. rudenko would be sschwarzs best for sure, i had rudenko beating lucas browne a few years back btw

honestly feel if Chisora was actually up for that fight and trained properly he would do Kabayel in!

I don't think very highly of either at this point. A year or so ago, before they were in the top 30/40 I thought maybe the two were prospects, especially Kabayel, but since then, it's been nothing to write home about. Neither deserve their BoxRec rankings.

chisora always has this built in excuse that he simply wasnt up for whatever fights he didnt do well in, ppl use it a lot for the pulev fight too.

you know, maybe he looks worse when guys box him and nullify him and dont just brawl mindlessly with him?

as the 'euro' no.1 kabayal is so mediocre is laughable. he is one dimensional and has absolutely no appeal outside his immediate family.

as for the joke Tom shwarz? he gets a last minute 40 year old crusier who must be tough because he's endured the agonizing pain of having manly tattoos !!!!

It's funny how the best Euro's are now mainly skipping the Euro scene when compared to 10-20 years ago. Kabayal isn't close to being the best in Europe, but he seems to be one of the few to be arsed about fighting for the title.

i had it 119-108 Kabayel. Rudenko down in 6. Rudenko tried but he was just worse. Kabayel moved better and looked better than vs Chisora imo. Kabayel hurt Rudenko several times in the second half of the fight.

Hopefully Kabayel defends against Wallin who I believe is the mandatory for the Euro belt, then the winner can step up to world level or even European level opponents. I see Schwarz as a lost cause though and imagine he'll slip up against an unassuming opponent (a la Simon Kean) before he steps up.

Rudenko wanted to quit in the sixth but the referee didn't let him! Very strange. Kabayel looked decent but no world beater. I believe this was the first time Rudenko had ever been knocked down.

Schwarz is going nowhere by fighting the opponents he faces. The first and third knockdowns were blatantly to the back of the head. He is young but he needs to step up.

Peter Kadiru, the former Youth Olympics winner, won a not particularly impressive UD on the undercard.
