I'm sure that Hammers' last opponent, an undefeated 19-0 (Michael Wallisch)
who stands 6'5 tall felt confident too .... right up to the point where he got KO'd in the 5'th round. The heavyweight division is always a big gamble, and Christian Hammer should not be taken lightly.

He might go the distance.

Ortiz appeared almost disinterested against Kaufman. A Wilder hangover.

But Ortiz will win practically every round.

Have a feeling that it won't be very exciting.

While he's never been a heavyweight buzzsaw, to me Ortiz appeared extra slow against Kaufman. Either unmotivated or tentative.

Wilder practically took Ortiz' head off at the end. That often has a lasting effect on a fighter. He's not eager to taste that type of punishment again and begins approaching every fight with extreme caution.

If he sleepwalks tonight and just does enough to win rounds, Ortiz' days as a heavyweight threat are over.

hammer deserves credit.

he fights everyone...and his record is top notch.

I actually see him outworking Ortiz but losing a dubious decision.

Hammer will most likely lose every round, he is not that good imo as some people think he is... he will not even come for win, just like vs Povetkin

On the contrary, Hammer is much better than the majority of people think...he's just not at the elite level. That being said, an upset tonight wouldn't surprise me at all.

Hammer forced Ortiz to box to win which made for a competitive bout. Looked like those straight rights from Hammer put caution to Ortiz's attacks. Ortiz's stock slightly diminished after this; Hammer's slightly increased.
