Are you willing to admit that most top boxers are on PEDs?
This is a difficult discussion but lets have it.
Re: Are you willing to admit that most top boxers are on PEDs?
I've believed it for years and this goes for pretty much any top athlete, not just boxing.

Yep. And with the joke punishments that get handed out, who can be surprised. Anyone who gets caught once should face a minimum 2 year ban. If they get caught again, banned for life.

I am glad you started this thread because I was thinking about this recently...
Something Whyte/Miller said about Joshua really hit home.. the warm weather training is something other athletes have mentioned (GSP recently retired mixed martial artist mentioned something similar on the JRE podcast)

True. It has evolved into more athletic ability, probably beginning with Tiger. Could have been earlier as well.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 12:33Well, that's probably pushing it. Golf takes a ton of athleticism and strength.

Always has been. He started them training like athletes, but the swing itself is timing and power.oogiebe wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 12:37True. It's always been about the speed and timing of the swing. I'm saying that Woods brought much more strength training to the game, or at least made it more widely recognized. It's still the most difficult sport I've ever participated in.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 12:41Always has been. At world level almost without question, and same for e.g. the UFC and most top spots.
Many will be on Clenbuterol/Winstrol especially.

Surely no one questioned it?
Re: Are you willing to admit that most top boxers are on PEDs?
Yes of course....been happening for years too, you'd be a very naive man to believe any different...
It's just a case of who you are that determines what the punishment will be,or if you will even be caught at all

Re: Are you willing to admit that most top boxers are on PEDs?
the cold truth is it has been happening across multiple sports for decades (cuban baseball players chewing gummies, lance, roy jones jr moving up to HW and so on ..) !
Re: Are you willing to admit that most top boxers are on PEDs?
UFC have a very clear drug testing program boxing universally does not. Guys get caught and banned which shows it does work.
Still some suspicious guys, but they have made improvements.

I always say look at what Messi and Ronaldo are doing and tell me that's natural, fornicating horseshit.
