This Saturday on box/nation unbeaten New Zealand Heavyweight Fa takes on former European title challenger Ouatah, never heard of either guy but I read Fa was 2-2 with Parker in the amateurs and are building a fight between both, the only name I recognise on his record is Rogelio Omar Rossi who challenged Huck for the world Cruiserweight title years go, Fa knocked him out in a round in his last fight
No notable wins on Ouatah's record but he's been stopped in both his losses, from Teper for the European and Duhaupas, decent opposition

Re: Junior Fa vs Newfel Ouatah
Fa blows away Ouatah in a round, the ref stopping it after Ouatah was down for a 4th time, the first KD Fa caught him with a big right hand coming out of a clinch and the other 3 were basically Ouatah going down from a barrage of punches still shaky from the first KD
Decent from Fa in a sense he got rid of Ouatah much quicker than Duhaupas and Teper but still pish

Even though he is 29, Fa is very much a work in progress.
I have watched him trim down considerably in the last 3 years. He is also gaining a lot of experience in sparring now he is based in the US.
The weight loss had an affect on his power IMO, it seems they are addressing that. While I don't think he is a threat to any of the top #5 HW's, nor will he be, he does have a chance to make some competitive showings around the #10-#25 range in the boxrec rankings. If you want to collate the top #5 up and coming prospects, Fa is definitely #5.

Yeah hard to say from only seeing less than a round but he looked good, i mentioned "pish" above but i was talking more Ouatah's showing, looking forward to seeing him again and i love a prospect with a name that's easy to remember , the other unbeaten Kiwi on the card looked good as wellKiwiRider wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 14:02 Even though he is 29, Fa is very much a work in progress.

Hemi Ahio is a bit small for a HW. He is very fiesty, and has quick hands. Vs Kownacki or Ruiez Jr would be OK to watch.handsofstone wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 14:50Yeah hard to say from only seeing less than a round but he looked good, i mentioned "pish" above but i was talking more Ouatah's showing, looking forward to seeing him again and i love a prospect with a name that's easy to remember , the other unbeaten Kiwi on the card looked good as wellKiwiRider wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 14:02 Even though he is 29, Fa is very much a work in progress.

Re: Junior Fa vs Newfel Ouatah
Watched this card Sunday morning.
Arias had a tougher opponent, even if he was fat as f**k and wearing an ill fitting white skirt that looked like a towell.
It looked as though they grabbed some fat bloke as he was coming out of the shower and offered him a few quid to jump in the ring.
His shorts/skirt/towell was falling down so much he was spending 2 minutes of most rounds with his arse crack on show.
He went the distance though, which meant we had to sit through that debacle for 8 rounds.
The kids found it funny though.

I liked the look of Stephan Shaw stopping Donovan Dennis, looked sharp and relaxed. Time for Dennis to retire now, was a heavy knockout
