A way to force Joshua - Wilder

Post by boxrecer777 »

Whyte fights Breazeale or Ortiz for the Interim title
Wins
Joshua then beats Whyte for the Interim WBC
WBC orders Wilder - Joshua

The only problem is the WBC wouldn't be able to make AJ the A-side. 50/50 at best... and it's possible team Wilder would accept less than that (55/45?) right now

I didn't know the WBC had an interim title.

It doesn't make sense to me. Wilder is fighting Breazeale next, IMHO. Whyte now seems to be the one frozen out of the mix. I'd bet Wilder/AJ happens late this year to early 2020.

Just keep forcing Wilder to fight his mandatorys , the closer he comes to losing the more he'll want the cash out fight ,AJ well love him or hate him , he has fought the better guys , and is young enough to keep plodding , and biding his time , Wilder , well he now needs the bigger fights , thats the problem with getting a higher profile he has to start taking risks , Breazell he will ko easy , Whyte he will ko but runs a big risk of getting Ko'ed , even Miller runs a risk for Wilder .

One things for sure Hearn has to stop chasing Wilder , his constant chasing is turning the A fighter (AJ) into the B fighter , he's asked , begged , and done all he could , now leave it , let Wilder go back to earning -3-4 million a fight , after paying his trainer , 3 managers and the tax man , he will sooner or later sit back and think , what the fook is going on , i could off got 60-40 , of a 100 mill fight and probably 50-50 of a 100 mill rematch , if i did'nt listen to these clowns i have has managers .

Nope let him go , , the fury rematch is'nt going to happen , Wilder only took that because he thought he was getting a big fat useless ex one trick pony , , so who's he gonna fight Ortiz , no way AJ not happenning , Miller not till they see how he goes against AJ , if he's busy and takes AJ's best shots , they will dodge him , Whyte possibly but for all his carry on WHyte is only B level , knocking Brown and Chisora , is'nt excatly setting the world on fire .

Nope its time to let go , the more AJ and Hearn chase Wilder the higher Wilders profile goes and the bigger his demands go , so cut it loose , Hearns constant chasing of the Khan -Brook fight just pushed Khans profile higher turned Brook into the b fighter and looks like it lost the fight .

The way to force the Wilder fight is ignore him , it will not be long and he will lose or take the fight , if he wants a big payday .. Fury , well to be honest he has the best chance out of anyone off beating AJ , his run and run style is'nt eally a good style for AJ to face , BUT while WILDER HAS THE BELT , they have a good excuse for not asking for a Fury fight . Maybee its in all best interests to keep AJ and Wilder apart , after all the only way to go for the winner is FURY , and he has a bad style for anyone , its KO him or lose

This is all fine but people, when they are knocking Wilder, forget that his last 2 fights were against Ortiz and Fury, arguably better fighters than those Joshua has faced (depending on how you rank a 40 year old, inactive Klitschko).

Don't get me wrong, prior to this I was knocking Wilder too but fair is fair.

Let's be honest.....Ortiz was looking old and slow in his fights leading to Wilder.....perhaps it's Wilder who made him look better than he is.

In fact we might even say something similar about Fury.

Is Wilder actually a bit crap but with a punch and a belt?

I really wouldn't like to call 38 year old Povetkin vs Wilder....well actually I would....Povetkin.

You can similarly dismantle Joshua's opponents too if you want though quite easily.

But then if you go a bit deeper , and look at who they had fought prior you can make a good case he only fought them because he thought they were cherry hand picked fighters who did'nt read the script

Ortiz , in the previous 2 years fought
Tony thompson ... then
Malik Scott .... then
Dave Allen ..... then
Daniel Martz ..................................................... Then Wilder .

Fury previous fight ,, well worn on hindsight shop worn Klichko ,,, then inactive ,, then on drugs and booze , then , 100 + pound overweight .

Only problem was , both these guys gave him the fright of his life , and it still remains to be seen is it them good or Wilder bad , for me the jurys still out on that one , Ortiz is probably skilled and tough enough , to give anyone and everyone nightmares given his experience and still in pretty good shape , but should be losing to any top 5 , Fury well he's a boring runner , its impossible to fight a guy like him who does'nt want to fight , his main ambition his to not get hit , he's happy for one punch to be landed in the fight , has long has its his punch , with the amount of pounches thrown in his fights , he counts them himself , when behind on a punch he'll throw and land 2 jabs and run

In both cases , Wilder did'nt get what he thought he bought , and to be honest , it worked well for him he got 2 lucky wins and raised his profile big time , , So AJ should stop chasing him and let him rematch them or fight someone else who is dangerous to him and on his perfomances in his last 2 fights that could be anyone out there . Stop chasing him and making him the A FIGHTER , leave him where he is , taking risks for 3 mill a fight after expenses and taxes he probably earns less than a mill a fight

Didn't it take Wilder 2 years to forfil a mandatory?
And that mandatory was an undeserving, inactive, out of shape Stiverne.
If we go by forcing a mandatory on Wilder, it should have been Whyte. The WBC will collude with whoever pulls their strings, Brazeale being a prime example.

ya you can go either way, just like saying povs shot cus hes 39 but then saying the even older ortiz would be a good and 'real' opponent

either way, both are among the very best contenders

Even if the wbc intermin exsisted, which I don’t think it does, if whyte held it and fought AJ for his world titles, WBC would force him to vacate their interim title
