fking great fight this, my excitement has no bounds...
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
this fight has been inevitable really, i think they both said in 2017 theyd be fighting each other the next year, but then the fury fight got made and that pushed this back into 2019
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
Not surprised. Tells me Fury/Wilder II isn't in the foreseeable future, if at all. Wilder will ko Breazeale.
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
This is just rubbish. Wilder, Fury and Joshua all seem now to be taking other fights, no doubt on the logic that it will make fights between two of the three of them even bigger down the line. It won't. Would any two of them please just show a bit of daring and agree to fight each other.

I know my view is unrealistic. I just wish they would choose the path of Ali, Frazier, Foreman rather than the 1990s British light-middleweights, because we all know how well the latter ended up.oogiebe wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 12:59LOL! There is so much money in boxing these days its almost become like the Premiership, a business. Boxers are not fighting for the glory or titles anymore they are only interested in the money but can you blame them?
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
If I think about it as a business person and not as a fan, I don't blame them. But...I am a fan and I'm pretty frustrated.

Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
Unlikely, but I hope Breazeale wins!
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
Wilder as I see it, is hanging by a thread in the top level.
How long he can go by not fighting AJ or Fury and still keep winning is anyone's guess.
Old man Ortiz nearly had him out, Fury beat him on points, and most of the C level guys he has been bottom feeding on have outboxed him before hitting the deck.
Letting it marinaide is pretty risky.
Brazeale probably isn't the one to take Wilders "0" but there is a chance. I would laugh if Brazeale did beat him. His stock with AJ would take a tumble if he lost and all the marinading goes away if it isn't two unbeaten heavies in the ring, at least for Wilders purse.

Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
wilder has certanly looked vulnerable at varying levels but he has now held onto the belt for several years and fights. i think hes pretty secure against b and below opponents though you never know

Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
Would make my day if Wilder and Joshua both lost then they had to fight each other for half of what they would get now.
Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
Would be funny but even if they lose they are both to big to fight in non title contests.

The "never know" aspect is what makes his fights a bit more interesting. The fight with Brazeale will be OK as long as we get the best possible Brazeale. It's a big step up for him considering the bottom feeding he has been doing of late.

Re: WBC have ordered Deontay Wilder..............
While wilder is vulnerable and technically unsound I have a hard time seeing the poorer technical boxer beating him Homer Simpson style like he did his best two wins.
