What's happening with Conor Benn?
What's happening with Conor Benn?
He hasn't fought since last July?
Promotional issues? Injury?
While we have seen his limitations, he is still very marketable and fan friendly

Been out with a hand or shoulder injury, can't remember which
Calling out garton a while back wasn't he,that would be another loss on his record

Re: What's happening with Conor Benn?
Me to mate,in the literal sense of what I saw with my own eyes,I had benn losing,I just forgot/wasn't aware it wasn't scored that way
Re: What's happening with Conor Benn?
For something like a British title fight the champs would be queuing up to fight him. PPV, big money and a straightforward fight at that level.
It's a payday Garton has lost, would they risk Benn against Jenkins?
Also with Conor's style, a one sided beatdown would be career ending.
It will be tough to match Benn now, he has already gone through his diet of journeyman and got the WBA strap. They can't keep feeding him journeymen and he struggled against a higher level journeyman.
I think domestic title level is much too dangerous for him.
I guess some unknown, African, Eastern Euro and South Americans will be next defeating the WBA strap.
Then it will be seen if he can move up a level without losing. He is still only 22 with no amateur experience.

Conor was at ringside to see the other Benn that no one cares about box last night.

He’s gonna return on April 20
Re: What's happening with Conor Benn?
On the Allen v Browne card along with Chisora v Gashi.
Re: What's happening with Conor Benn?
I wonder what level of opponent they will give him?
And will it be for the WBA strap?
In fairness he puts bums on seats and not just because who his dad is.
He is of Dave Allens level, but prob not as resilient

I think it's for the international title which Benn holds.
Re: What's happening with Conor Benn?
He's ranked above Josh Kelly by the WBA

Pretty sure he was being lined up to fight on fight camp but didn't want to fight on a card with no crowd - Mistake I would say.
