Give him a chance. He’s clearly waiting for his payday against Pac.

I'm always reading about athletes and their terrible credit decisions. Jewelry cars homes.
And they don't pay for them. They leave their sport with less than they came in to it with
Re: Adrien Broner being sued by jewellers..
I think it was a couple of years ago some of us agreed Broner most likely (of the current champions) to be broke by the time he retired or soon after.
His Mayweather- esq spending and hangers on, plus his child and sposual support on 7 kids to 6 baby mammas- at last count- being the mitigating factors.
I bet the jewellery was all personalised, and probably only holds value in the metal and gems when he has to hock it to pay chold support and tax bills 18 months after hanging up his gloves...

Every time I see a link with Adrien Broner in all I can think is "what the hell has he done this time?"
A man who at one point was meant to be the next big name in the boxing world and he had the potential to back it up before he started acting so ridiculous.
give the man his next pay day against Manny then hopefully he leaves on his back and that's the last we hear of him, unless he sorts himself out that is.

AB's mouth and silly habits pay his cheques. If you look at AB's status, he always gets big undeserved fights bc he's known and he has his audience. I wonder if AB would be a quiet hard working fighter, he would still getting these big fights?? Maybe he is not that stupid as we think and we just fall into this marketing trap.

Sadly I think you've got a point there, rightly made too. We do seem to be at a stage where big fights don't mean who is the best skill wise but who generates the most attention. For better or worse.apollo creed wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 04:38 AB's mouth and silly habits pay his cheques. Broner gets so many good names and title fights(and most of them he's losing) that it makes you think a little about it. After Pac I could see Broner getting Khan or Danny Garcia.northern wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 10:52Sadly I think you've got a point there, rightly made too. Broner vs Berto- in "the battle of the best valuable stepping-stones"
Re: Adrien Broner being sued by jewellers..
Honestly i think he and Khan might be a decent match by this stage, Broner looking all the part of a could've been great, Mayweather esc boxer and Khan chased that fight for years for it to never happen, so this might be the closest thing Khan could ever hope to get and I'd be backing/hoping for Broner to win that one.apollo creed wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 12:03Broner gets so many good names and title fights(and most of them he's losing) that it makes you think a little about it. Like you say about him losing big fights, i think I'd enjoy seeing Garcia beat him though.

Re: Adrien Broner being sued by jewellers..
There was a video I saw on Twitter of him just being a complete jackass to a cashier at Walgreen's and sh*t to the point that the manager came up, and told him there was no need to make a scene. Dude's just a f*cking moron.

I've never understood the point of jewellery. It's amazing how easily controlled the human mind is.

Re: Adrien Broner being sued by jewellers..
Former four division world champion Adrien Broner is finally paying off his $1 million jewelry debt ... agreeing to give it all back in 3 installments -- TMZ Sports has learned.
We broke the story ... the boxing star was hit with a lawsuit last year after he allegedly stiffed a jeweler out of more than $1 million in fine jewels.
Pristine Jewelers NY said Broner promised to pay for multiple items which totaled $1.252 million ... but his checks never cleared -- and then he refused to follow through on a payment plan.
But, according to legal documents filed this week ... Broner has finally reached a settlement with the company -- and has agreed to pay off his debt.
Per the details of the agreement ... Broner made his first payment on March 4 and will pay $500,000 by December 31, 2019, and then the final $500,000 no later than 6 months after that.
It's interesting ... according to documents -- Broner struck the agreement with the jeweler on Feb. 15 -- just a couple weeks after he reportedly earned a $2.5 million check from scrapping with Manny Pacquiao.

Speaking of jewelry, once I bumped into Roberto Duran shopping in the diamond district of Manhattan, West 47th Street.
