The two boxers photo. I thought the boxer could be Frank Johnson but I was wrong. I now have no doubt at all that it is Dai Davies of Skewen. I suspect the contest in question probably took place in London and having had a good look at all of Davies's London opponents cannot say for certain who his opponent is at this stage but I will keep looking.

Who are these Boxers?

The two Boxers
When I originally took a copy of the photo and had it put on the forum I didn't note what was written on the back.
The other day I went back to the original and can say that the answer was there all along.

Bernard Pugh v Dai Davies Albert Hall 20/11/1951
Any ideas about the context. Does anyone know who won the fight and who won the competition?

Bernard Pugh was top of my list of potential opponents but I had been unable to find a picture of Pugh with a tattoo as your picture clearly shows he has. Facially he is a match. Should have stuck my neck out, I thought it was him!
