Are there any Short Slugger heavyweight greats?
A few weeks ago I asked for advice as I am a short southpaw heavyweight and you helped me fine. I have found the suggestions pretty useful. But my question is here by definition I feel like I am a slugger /puncher because my greatest attribute is my strength and power. I am just too slow for a swarmer and too clumsy for a puncher and only setting up few big punches feel natural to me so maybe if someone can suggest to me a decent heavyweight slugger who is not gigantic like Vitaly Klitschko, George Foreman or Riddick Bowe? I would love to check some out .

because you are short guys have to punch down to hit you.

because short guys force guys to punch down they open up paths to punch over the top.

heres what i mean. heres a 5'11 guy making a 6'6 guy punch down and then punching over the top.
mihai nistor is a short heavyweight southpaw who may fit your description.

Check out Two ton Tony Galento... not sure how much "decent" would come into it, but definitely a short slugger.

Try to find Joey Dawjko who is around 5'10". Not a huge puncher but a bit of a brawler. Gave Kuzmin all he could ask for last weekend.
The obvious is Rocky Marciano and maybe George Chuvalo, but both of them were gifted in the "taking punishment" category.
If I think of any more, I'll post. Good luck!

Marciano. Tyson. Tua. Burns. Rivas. Galent. Frazier. Not all obviously just slugger on the least but all shorter than the norm at heavy. And all could/can punch.
