Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
I know it is naive to believe things reported on social media but if Wilder declines this offer from John Skipper he is officially a yellow duck
Update looks like he is a fool:

Showtime are going to have to pull something out the bag to keep him.
I think he takes it, but keeps Haymon on as an advisor so he gets his cut.

40 million US isn't huge money for unification fights, those fights would generate a lot more.
Nevertheless earning 100 million in a year can't be sniffed at.
Conor Macgregor earned 100m for one fight!

1. That's 40m for Wilder, not incl. AJ... makes it a 100m fight. In today's boxing terms, that's huge
2. Wilder isn't even 20% as popular as McGregor

Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
different cheese that McGregor lad - he draws a minimum of 1m ppv buys for the UFC
the Maywedder fight was an anomaly for him - he fought the biggest star in boxing
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
40m us is massive. wilder has only made over 2.1m for one fight
2 point 1
not 21
wilder has only made over 2 point 1 mill once. so 40m is huge
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
I completely agree with you, all I am saying on those figures we won't be getting 50% against AJ.
I bet AJ would turn his nose up at those figures.
20 mill for Breazdale is a great nights work though

Wilder is a fool regardless - have you listened to any of his interviews?

I see something the other day saying he didn’t earn anywhere near that. Closer to £30m. Not sure how true that is though.

If you usually make ~$2m/fight and someone is going to put $100m in your bank account, you shouldn't give a s*** what the other guy is getting.Coco wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 11:30I completely agree with you, all I am saying on those figures we won't be getting 50% against AJ.

If those figures are true of course he'll take it. Looks like he was right to tell Hearn to stick his 15 mill up his ass
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
2.1m for one fight is old old news. He got a lot more than that for Fury and will get a lot more for his next fight. Like it or not, his profile has climbed.
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
lol it was just last year, and he had only just stepped up from 1.4m us. 40m is absolutely hugetobyh5 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 18:222.1m for one fight is old old news. He got a lot more than that for Fury and will get a lot more for his next fight. Like it or not, his profile has climbed.

Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
He only got big money against Fury because of Fury. If DAZN hadn't made Wilder a ridiculous offer for him to fight Breazeale how much do you think Al would've paid him? It wouldn't of been PPV and even if it was it would bomb.tobyh5 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 18:222.1m for one fight is old old news. DAZN are only offering him silly money to fight Dom in order to get him to fight AJ. Wilder-Breazeale is a poor fight that no one is interested in.
If Wilder turns this down he might as well come out and say he's scared of Joshua.
I don't understand why they're not making any offers to AJ. If the 24 hour $50m offer was serious you'd have thought they would've followed it up, made counter offers or given more details.
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
hes turning it down lol
Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
You mean the 15m offer they ACCEPTED? But then cried that it didn't have an exact date and location. Then agreed to fight Fury without a date or location for about 2 months.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 15:59 If those figures are true of course he'll take it. Re: Wilder is a fool if he declines DAZN offer
