I can see Dave Allen v David Price fighting for the vacant title.

Quick fix. Wonder what is going on with Fury. Seems to be having some difficulties. Not the first injury.

Joyce should be the first name forward as he was mandatory meaning Dubious, Gorman or Allen won't go near the British belt. Price v Joyce would be fun while it lasted. Olympic silver v bronze medalist in what would surly be prices last stand.

Price would be stamped down like Sherman through Atlanta (for non-US folks, lookup Sherman's march to the sea)

Yes, I wonder as well. It's been a while since Pulev and nothing on the horizon. The British was his last bauble and defending it would have been an earner.
Is there something bigger on the horizon for him?

Fury lacks opportunity, holding on to the belt will at least give him something, Dubois, Gorman, Allen, Price, Chisora
I guess though the bigger promoters won't put their charge up against Fury, so it will sit dorant as long as Hughie is champ.
I bet it will become busy again now he has stepped down.

I kinda feel like it's Fury who doesn't want those matchups.

If that's the case it's bad form on him. If he is willing to take on Pulev and fight for world titles he should take on anyone.

Joyce, to me is the guy for this title. I agree.

The problem if Joyce gets nominated is that no prospect will take it. Sam Sexton will get another shot.

Price if he beats Ali will have beaten area level Brits back to back which may do more for his ranking with the BBBoC than beating international opposition. I’d love it to be Joyce and Price and can see promoters bidding big enough for that for the boxers to take it. Gorman and Dubois will want piss all to do with this as has been shown already.

If he had a good money call today for a job in 8 weeks he would jump at it.

Chisora vs Joyce?

Wasn't Allen's win (name has escaped me) an eliminator

It makes me laugh how so many posters go on about how shit and slow Joyce is yet the fact it's so hard to get somebody in the ring with him says a lot.

lol every rbr thread for a joe joyce fight basically becomes:

'hes so sh!t'

'my dead nan moves faster'

'gawd he has no power either'

tbf he is slow as sh!t and has a butt ugly style. though i do think hes more effective then a lot give credit for. though not top hw material.

The no power comment is just ridiculous. When Joyce fights a decent enough opponent, he'll get exposed. He's slow; he's powerful; and so far effective, but against less than stellar competition. Not sure what you're going on about.

I agree with that, however; I'm speaking to your mocking of posters. I don't remember anyone saying he doesn't have power.
