Ryan Walsh
Ryan Walsh
The BBBoC have ordered British Featherweight title holder Ryan Walsh to defend his title for the 6th time against Jordan Gill, undefeated in 23 fights.
Re: Ryan Walsh
nice match up that, perhaps even a 'pick em'
Re: Ryan Walsh
Yes not a bad fight at all

Re: Ryan Walsh
Think Gill could take him. Good matchup for him. At 24 he may be coming into his own, showing some power in his last several fights.

Re: Ryan Walsh
This is a very decent fight, hopefully it goes ahead. Gill has looked sharp recently but this would be a solid step up.

Re: Ryan Walsh
I don’t think Gill’s team will go for it. Think they’ll go for Kiko Martinez for the European belt. I’d say stylistically he’s a better fight for Gill than Walsh and is almost certainly a more well known name over here.

Re: Ryan Walsh
Good fight this. Been very impressed with Gill but I think Walsh has the beating of him
Re: Ryan Walsh
Has Liam Walsh retired... .thats linked to my thread about promoters dropping the ball....3 years ago Liam wouldn't have a problem getting fights.
Re: Ryan Walsh
I don't get it either , maybe he has ?
How many fighters out there at British level are just not fighting at the moment ?
Loads of good match ups to be made and it just ain't happening , maybe down to promoters ?
Re: Ryan Walsh
Why isn’t allegedly signing these lads up on short term deals and get some good domestic fights on the go whilst filling up his tv schedule?

Maybe time for some lesser known promoters to step up , seems like a big gap in the market at the moment.

He’s just signed with MTK.rd350lc wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 19:44liamlion wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 19:25Why isn’t allegedly signing these lads up on short term deals and get some good domestic fights on the go whilst filling up his tv schedule?![]()

Re: Ryan Walsh
Apart from really great 50/50 superfights I’d rather watch “British Title league” boxing than anything else.
I’m sure I’m not alone in that.

Re: Ryan Walsh
I always wondered what happened to liam walsh....i know michael retired years back
Re: Ryan Walsh
I wonder what happened, they are all ticket sellers and are at least competitive at domestic title level.
I don't see why they haven't had regular work.
Maybe it is something behind the scenes.
